If you are in the US, are you happy with who won in your state?

Not all of the candidates I voted for won, but I think that overall, Illinois made the right decisions. I did a first for me and did not vote along party lines. There were a few where I really had to think who would best represent me and my issues. In some cases this was not my normal party candidate. It seems that our race for governor is still too close to totally call, and that the incumbent has about an 8500 vote lead. The other guy is already saying he is going to contest, and demand a recount.

I am in Colorado, all I can say is, you cant win em all. We have become a blue state and are now surrounded by red! So luckily I am very close to a state line!
I am not happy with the outcome of the Governors race, but I knew it would happen because of candidates jumping parties, and the RNC here is just plain stupid.
Our Senate results arent complete yet but it looks like either way, the vote is so close their will be a recount. One good thing, we got Betsy Markey out of the House. Otherwise, my local elections turned out about right so far....

Since we have choices between crooks, there really aren't any choices. We voted for the least worst and hoped we were right.

You never get all you want but the election result were great. Not only did the Republicans win big but several of the liberal Democrat Leadership were defeated, and many of the Democrats who won are the ones who do not believe in the far left vision. We are seeing the last Hurrah of the radicals of the 60's.

as I grow up, I find myself in the middle. I used to be so idealistic. I believed that there was a perfect government and that was a more liberal government. now I am starting to see how flawed the system is. I really feel that neither the democrats or the republicans are truly right all of the time. Saying as I am not overly religious, I am not as socially conservative as many, but fiscally, I am becoming more and more so. Hopefully the new make up of congress can get their own heads on straight and work towards a compromise that will at least cut the spending somewhat.

I'm okay with most of the outcomes...some of the candidates were like choosing the lesser of the two evils! I am not happy about some of the propositions that passed in our state but that's a whole different can of worms!

To be honest, I don't vote at all. Actually, I don't really care who going to win on this race. I am not that cool or something, I just don't care about politics, that is all, It is not interest to me.

I think Sir Obama is more like - the more peaceful, the better.
Who knows about their intentions? Better not get mixed with politics. It'll tear you apart!

Yes....no....sort of. Both houses of our state legislature went to a majority of republican and Freestate candidates. Sadly, I am still stuck with our spineless, federal boot licking governor, though it wasn't too surprising, it was expected. I am not real happy about our congressional picks, I voted libertarian on all 3 and the republican candidates all one instead (again, not surprised).
