I cannot believe how fast Christmas is coming? Do you do your shopping now or do you wait until days before? Do you buy or do you like to make gifts? What are your plans for the 2010 Christmas Day???

I usually shop throughout the year as I come across really good deals. I couldn't afford to buy much otherwise! I do make things when I find patterns or ideas that I think people will like, and I do rewards programs online and save gift certificates from them to spend at Christmas, so I'm planning and working toward it all year. It really is coming fast now! I have to get some ideas finished up!

I have a credit card that gives points for Amazon gift cards. I put everything on it that I can and pay it off each month. Then I do Mypoints, Swagbucks and FreeRide and a few others like that.

What do you think of the swagbucks? Is it easy? I have a Friend who does it! What do you have to do and do you do well at it or is it a waste of time?

I am excited and have already bought a bunch of gifts...and I am working on my inventory for the holiday craft sale here next week in town....I do alot of shopping right after Christmas. Last year I got everyone in my family these beautiful Christmas ornaments to put on their packages from Pier One....they were 90% off! My son and family will be here for Christmas day...

What types of crafts do you do? How long have you been doing it for? Do they sell well? I think that is really cool....Do you sell on line as well?

It's hard to believe how close it is...lol I am broke as usual, trying to exist on Social Security Disability. I think I am going to make cactus or succulent planters for most of the adult friends and relatives and inexpensive gifts for the kids. It's just so expensive and I so love giving gifts. I don't care about getting them but each year my heart brakes a little more as the family grows..by 2 this year...lol Oh pooh why wasn't I born independently wealthy....jeez

Awwww you are awesome and Money isn't everything! I find Money is evil!!!!!! I am curious though how you make your cactus or succulent planters I think that is such an amazing idea and touching.....To me that would so mean more to me than a store bought gift! I too like to give and don't like getting for myself. I am a mom to 9 soon to be 10 and we dont have a whole lot of monies either. I find the dollar stores are good to shop and here in canada we have kijji where you can buy next to new or new items for low costs which I find helps me; I use to do layaways at the store all year around but as everything is raising in moeny I am finding it harder. You were born this way for a reason! I am very glad you were cause I now have a new friend! =)

Hmm, I rather gift my love a huge huge hug! Hehe. I seldom gift materials but i will answer your post. If you like to make gifts for your friends and loved ones, its better to make gifts as early as last week of november to first week of december. My plans for upcoming christmas day, hmm. eat together with my family only. And make greetings thru online social site like facebook etc. Hehe. I hope thie will help :)

Hugs go way further than materialistic things......The meal alone and family time is more well worth then a $$$$ gift.......Memories that will last a life time ...What do you make for Christmas dinner?

Hi there! Unfortunately, I cannot do my Christmas shopping now because Im having a low budget as of now. I love to buy gifts and share them with my close friends, grand daughters and grand sons. Sometimes, if i ran out of gifts, i'll just gave them money instead. If I have a choice, its good to provide gift items the whole year because you could buy many items on sale so you could save more instead of buying regular price items. My plans for Christmas this year is the same as the previous Christmas, I'll stay with my family and eat something special, pray together and attend mass so we could thank God for one more a very blessed year we had. We will surely have family reunion too so im looking forward to celebrate Christmas and New year this year. Good night!
