1) Dreams come true only to those who are lucky:
You are a victim of fate. Nothing lucky happens to you. Sounds familiar? Follow through with your dream whole-heartedly. You might be suprised at the "luck" that comes your way.
2)I could never...
...go back to school. ...earn more money. ...learn a new language.
You can if you think you can. You can't if you think you cant. Your mind can be very persuasive. Don't let it take you for a walk. You are the master. Your brain is the dog.
3) I know I should/shouldn't, but...
How many times have you tried to rationalize your bad habits? "I know I should exercise more but..." "I know I should quit smoking but..." Excuses are usually lame but your brain tries to make you feel better into continuing what you are doing. Reflect for a moment. How do YOU want to change your life?
4) It has not happened to me yet. It never will:
Einstein went through a thousand failures before stumbling on his invention of the light bulb. If not for him, we will still be basking in the kerosene aroma of oil lamps. Don't let your brain convince you with this lie. There is always a tomorrow. All it might take is just one more day for you to realise your dream.
5) If only I knew the secrets to success:
Psst! Herez a heads up! There is NO secret to success. What is your goal? What is your strategy to achieving your goals? What is your Plan B? If you can answer these, you will travel further down the road to happiness than most people will. Sorry to burst your bubble. There are no short-cuts to this. The sooner you realise this, the better!
6)I'd be happier if I only had less to do!
errHemm! No you won't. By nature, we are creative, industrious beings. Having less to do will only lead to boredom and depression. Just think back on the days when you were in high school. After the exams, suddenly there is no more studying to do, no more tutorials to attend. No more waking up early for classes. Sure, you enjoyed it for a day or two, heck, for even a week. Then what? You fell into a rut, getting zombified in front of your TV or spending hours on the internet just to realise you have not accomplished anything at the end of the day. Having too much could lead to a nervous breakdown. Finding the balance is key to happiness.
These are the 6 Top Lies controlling you without you realising it. Feel free to add on more lies you can think of which I have not mentioned.

Lord have mercy, if we didn't have those things to talk about, what would we do with our time? It would give us more time if we quit complaining about how much time we had. If we looked at every failure we wouldn't make any kind of progress. LOL you have alot of good thoughts. I am keeping your thoughts in mind.
