internet relationship and love affairs

Sadly it doesn't.

My Husband and I met on line we have been married for 12 years now. Yes it can work for some. We met before all the sites were there to set you up. We actually both had AOL and we used the IM to talk back and forth. I met a few guys off line he is the one that stuck. I really think that it depends on the people involved and how honest that they are going to be. We chatted online for a month I think before we met. Meeting was still stressful because you feel like you know this person but it is still a very different thing to meet in person.

I don't have personal experience with it, but my son and daughter in law met online several years ago. They met through IRC (Internet Relay Chat), which is different from chats through browsers. It used to be very popular. They've bought their own home and are now expecting their first child, so I'd say that it worked for them.

It didn't work for me, but it did for others.
