Whats your favorite type of music?

I completely agree that music plays a major role in our lives. From simple sounds produced to more complex ones like a whole song, they are all part of music. I personally listen more to slow music too, those love songs that really touch and move our hearts whether we are in love or broken hearted. I also listen to other types of music though. It really depends on my mood. I like rnb, acoustic, acoustic rock, alternative rock, hip-hop, broadway, well, almost all types I think, except for hard or metal rock which I find quite irritating. It somehow gives me headache. I think the reason why most of us listen to a wide range of music genre is because we like to listen to songs that we can relate to or those that make us feel good while and/or after listening to it. Any song of any type or genre could be a good candidate to be included on our playlist as long as we find it appealing. Music has the ability to touch our soul, our inner feelings or emotions. It somehow helps us cope with some of the challenges in our lives, it helps us channel our deepest feelings and thoughts, express them to others. That is why we have different or individualized tastes or interests in music and I think we shouldn't be mocked or judged by the type of songs we listen to. It's plainly unfair. Whatever our favorite type of music is, it's great that it is present in our lives. Let's just be thankful for that. =)

Old -school hip-hop, rock, new metal, break beats, electonic and... prodigy :D

I really like jazz, i think jazz is a soul music. When i listening jazz i can really feel the beat, this is not happens when I listen to the others kind of music. So that, i can easily say that my favorite music is jazz.

My musical tastes are vast, and I have the Internet to thank for it! :) A partial list of my musical favorites are World Music, Celtic, Classical, Jazz, Rock, Classic Rock, 90's Grunge, Avant-garde, indie, folk, Big Band, post-rock, and a lot more! I think that having a wide range of music interests make for a very open mind. A lot of my friends have a wide variety of music on their playlists and they're all open minded people.

people says "the world in absence of music is not perfect " i listen to kinds of geners,only when i have my mood to go along with the melody. music such as the BANDARI theme..it's my first music enjoyed ,afterwards i tried musice of robermails,yani and so on .in my usual way i listen with no attention to its authors,in fact i listen to songs more often than music. GROOVE COVERAGE ,SAVAGE GARDEN .. moonlight shadow ,only love.to the moon and back ,tears of pearls. others such as "another day in paradise","tonight i feel close to you" "no promises".. too much music and songs worth enjoying !

i like listening almost everything! :P except jazz, blues, heavy metal, hard rock.. otherwise, anything catchy i love!!! specially country, zouk, rnb, classical, pop,.lol..

My favourite music is Rock music and ska punk music, but i do also like pop punk and a few others too, but all very simular to rock and punk music.... nothing like dance or rnb music as i hate that type of music. I am going to a gig quite soon, which i'm excited about because i haven't been to one since my kids were born and thats nearly 5 years ago.

I enjoy listening to all kinds of music too. My favorite kind is classical music, very smooth and relaxing. I have a collection of CDs of Chopin, Brahms, Johan Strauss, Beethoven, Mozart, and more. Whe I travel overseas, I buy CDs of classical music of their cultures too. I am pretty much addicted to classical music and jazz music.

As you said, types of music eh? It means genre? Well, when it comes to genre, my all time favorite is alternative metal. I have only 1 alternative metal band that i love to hear the most. Its Breaking Benjamin. My body shivers when I hear their songs, growls and melodic voices. That's my favorite band at the moment and genre at the moment.

In my case, it doesn't matter what kind it is. When the song is tickling my ears no matter what it is, it's good for me. I can also relate to the stories behind every songs. I always feel the emotion in every line. When I am depressed, I listen to Korean songs. I don't understand the lyrics but it has lots of feelings. In studies, you must not listen to sad love songs when you are depressed. It could add up to it. Listen to instrumental songs only. For me, it's helpful to listen to songs that i don't understand when I'm on this state. I just love music the way it is! ^_^

I like all kinds of music. My favorite I guess is eclectic or anti-folk, so think Regina Spektor or Wakey Wakey. In high school I was more into alternative music, but as I got a little older, I started to expand my tastes on more untraditional genres.
