Why don't spiders get stuck in there own web? I always wondered this because so many differnt bugs get stuck in the spiders web, but not spiders.

Maybe they have an anti stick coat on their skin or legs thats why they dont stick on their own web.

Because they won't stick to their own web, if they did how would they make it in the first place. Other bugs don't stick to their traps do they so spiders wouldn't stick to theirs. I was taught at school the exact reason, but i can't remember it in great detail now as i only remember the minor points.

The stickiness is actually generated by little "glue" spots on the web. They're like little dabs of glue placed strategically. The spider simply avoids the glue spots when they're on the web.

their limbs helps them to crawl into their webs. You can see that they prevent their body on getting into their web and they walk raising one leg after the another.

Every bugs, animals and humans have thier unique skills. Us humans, unique talents. So as the post says about the spider. Its their unique ability and its their own weapon. Its their way to capture bugs and eat them. Just my 2 cents
