Sometimes I forget the time when I have a lot of job doing with my computer. After minutes my eyes are tired and getting sleepy. I drink a cup of coffee. But it doesn't work. I'm still sleepy. I don't know what to do. Some suggest me to buy the screen which reduce the radiation of the computer. It's too difficult for me to read with the screen. I don't like it. So, do you have any ideas?

Its better to use an LCD screen which has a lower effect on your eyes.... If thats not going to help you.... Then I have a different solution for you.... Whenever you are working... Just try to sit back and lean your head on the chair and close your eyes for 15-20 seconds..... Repeat this for every 15 minutes without failure..... This really helps.... i read about this somewhere in a mail and tried it myself.... It really works.....

Computer operators likely have visual problems, in your case you to tend to get sleepy and probably have eyestrain. This could be caused by intense light emitted from your computer screen and improper lighting around your work station.
To reduce this problem, you should consider an hourly break and do exercises to relax your eye muscles. Scanning across the room and rolling or blinking the eyes could also be helpful. You can look far objects and glance at them in fluid way.
The most important thing is have your eyes checked on a regular basis.

Whenever you feel sleep go to bed and sleep. Everybody want rest. Otherwise our body will become tired. Lack of rest is one of the main reasons for many diseases. Like all other body parts, our eyes also want rest. Give them rest. When you feel that rest is enough for your eyes, open the computer and start to do the job again.

Yes, my eyes will feel tired if I have faced the computer for a long time. So sometimes it will be good if I can take a break. But as you know, it is easy to sit in front of the computer for a long time and you don't even want to move.

Rest, rest and rest....take a look outside try to find any greenery (or you can download one :p)
You know after hours of staring at the computer screen not only your eyes may become lethargic, but it may lead to other serious medical conditions such as nerve palsy..
so gotta give it a lil bit of rest k? All the best with your work! :)

Working at the computer too long can really cause strain on your eyesight. I, myself, am wearing reading glasses now because of too much exposure to computers. Simple tips on how you could give your eyesight a break: 1. Remember to blink: blinking your eyes often gives it enough moisture to filter some very small particles that could irritate your eyes. 2. Look at a view with something green: After an hour in the computer, direct your eyes to view out of the window. It would be better if the view has plants, mountains...nature relaxes the eyesight. 3. Tape a short nap: Closing your eyes with a 10 to 30 minute power nap, not only relaxes your eyesight but refreshes your mind as well.

Yes,too much use of computer may make your eyes tired. To prevent it, you may use protective shields on the computer, occasionally stay away from the computer and divert your gaze to other objects, have some ocular exercises, especially convergence exercises, may also use artificial tear substitutes.

It always happens to me, I forget the time I have already spent in front of my computer then I would feel like my eyes are already droopy. Sometimes I'd feel like I could no longer open my eyes and that is when I hop into bed and get sleep. I believe that whenever we feel that our bodies are no longer tuned in, it would be best if we get to rest and regain energy. When you feel your eyes are already tired, then don't hesitate to make them rest, don't overdo yourself because it is only you who's gonna suffer.

Yes in fact everybody's eyes get tired sooner or later .... best way to tackle this problem his taking gaps of few minutes between your work ...stretch your hands & legs ... I know it is hard to think about them if u have deadlines to meet or r too engrossed in work ...
Also if u have an option where u can walk down a garden of green grass with bare feet for some time , try it ... it has good prospect on ones eyes ....

Yeah, I also suffer from this problem and even tears starts coming out of my eyes when I am in front of PC for long time.
Best thing is to take a break and close your eyes for some time, massage your eyes and then wash them with fresh water, this can reduce irritation to your eyes....

I took sometime to rest away from the computer whenever I feel like my eyes is hurting or tired, our eyes are very important, taking extra care of them should be treated with much priority. One way of doing that is to close your eyes for at least 10 minutes or do something else outside from the computer. Eating the right food and drinking with nutritional drinks especially rich in vitamin A, C and E is very helpful. I don't get in my monitor for straight hours, I alternatively get in a break for half an hour or more.

I think that maybe you need to get your eyes tested. If you are having difficulty looking at your screen then maybe you need to wear spectacles. Drinking coffee will not help your tired eyes. So get yourself booked in to see your optician as soon as you can to have a good eye examination.

I do feel like this from time to time and well the only thing that will remedy it is a break and rest from so much glaring into the screen.
It is important to know that it is very harmful and effects our vision in the long run.

There is no radiation in your screen, well unless its from the '80s. The reason why your eyes hurt and you get sleepy is because when you (not just you but everybody) looks at a a computer's screen you do not blink or at least not as often as you do when you are outside. As a result your eyes dry out and get damaged. The solution is simple get a few minutes rest from time to time and indeed look at trees and plants as the others suggested because the green color is calming your eyes and just blink more often while you use your computer.
Cheers
