will there be another part of the lord of the rings?/

Every time I watch The Lord of the rings it makes me see it more and more. I am sure that there are thousands of other mylotters who love the lord of the rings passionately. Its been so many years that they have not made a new part. I want this to urge the Producer, The director of The lord of the rings to make a new part to entertain their fans.
do you think they will make another part of it. Though the ring has been destroyed in the last part. Still there could be so much to write about even after the last part.

They will not do any more Lord Of The Ring Movies, sadly as that has come to an end. However they are gonna do a prequel to Lord Of The Rings. The Hobbit I cant wait to see how it turns out I can only hope it turns out as good as the other movies. Hope you have a great day and happy my lotting.

Yes, I agree. The Hobbit could be great, so that is what we all have to look forward to at the moment. I personally can't wait to see it!

Im so glad that peter jackson has taken charge again. i was dreading the thought of hell boy chasing bilbo through the caves of the misty mountains. by the way if you look at all like an elf or can ride a horse there auditioning peple fore extras so get goin to new zeland!!

i don't think there would be another part. the books written for this sequel, which was 3 were over. the ending was great. and i think it would be very difficult for the writer to create another part or book for this story. I think it would be like pushing another story to fit in the original masterpiece.

this is true and unfortunatly he has past away a long while ago. but fortuntaly he has left a large moutain of knowlegde and storys from middle earth that can be turned into great films.

JRR Tolkien wrote many other books about Middle Earth, so it is possible that another movie (besides the Hobbit) will be made at some point in the future, but they will not have the same characters as LOTR. You should read the books if you haven't already--truly great literature and even better than the movies!

There will be no more sequel after the 3rd series. The author is no longer around and it would not be the same if someone will continue the story. But im excited to watch the prequel of LOTR which is the Hobbit.

There were only 3 books, so no, there won't be another Lord of the Rings movie. As pointed out by others there is a prequel called The Hobbit, I've read the book and you'll get to know more about the history of the ring and how Bilbo was able to get it, but it follows a storyline way before The Lord of the Rings and the tone of it is much different from the trilogy.

Well I have heard of the hobbit series but I think it was delayed because of some sort of problems with the director.
