I already experience using Windows 2000 and Win XP. What OS could you recommend to me to use in my PC? I am planning to install Windows 7. How about you what OS you are presently using? Please advise.

I am currently using Windows 7 on one my laptops. It is very slow, but really jazzy. As I have installed it on my wife's computer and she mainly uses to surf the net, it is fine for her. But I think if I wanted to use the system for anything more serious and number crunching then I think the system is too slow. Cheers! Ram

I am using three operating systems at the moment on my three PCs, XP, Vista and window 7. All these operating systems are great, I found window vista heavier than other operating systems and it slows down pc, I think you should use most upto date operating system instead of going into old one. Window 7 is good operating system and I have only one week experience with it but so for it is good for me...:)

hi syoti20 My son just bought a new laptap and he has windows 7 which he seems to like pretty much. he said xp is also a great operating system, I am still limping along with windows 2000 which was a great op but is getting outdated now a nd sooner pr later I am going to have to get the money to put in either windows 7 or Xp.if windows 7 is as good as windows 2000 has been that would be great. I had the millenium OS but it was awful, stalling at the least little thing.

Windows 7 is something that I have gotten on recently and I really enjoy it. I think that XP was the best out there myself, but Windows 7 is pretty good too and it is current, so there will be support with it. The Operating System this time actually took a step forward, as opposed to a step back, which is always nice, and hopefully for any future operating systems it can improve. So yeah, Windows 7 is your best bet. Vista I was not that much of a fan of through my limited experiences with it. There was just something about that operating system that really did frustrate me in every way imaginable. So 7 appears to be the huge thing for right now and the one that I intend to use for years to come, until I am forced to do otherwise, so that is my personal recommendation.

Hi friend XP is always the best os man.Best user friendly os ever released. windows 7 also good man,it is not like vista.failures of vista are overcame here. win 7 is pretty attractable and east usable, good graphical interface. It is easy to install win 7,it consumes less time than xp. win xp and 7 both are very good xp.7 consumes more capacity for its performance. For 7 u should have good pc configuration for better performance im using windows 7 ultimate if u want to use win7, its cool man

I think windows7 is the best os yet for pc,because since i have been using the pre-beta and RC version i have not experienced any problems. I dont know exactly which is best overall cause i have not used a mac os before or any other popular os apart from windows and ubuntu.

I think Windows 2000 can be crashed suddenly anytime. Compare to it, Windows XP is much more stable. Actually until now I still use Windows XP and I don't have a plan to upgrade my operating system. As long as it works fine, I don't have to use the latest version. I love China

I currently have Windows 7. I didnt like Windows Vista too much. XP was great too. But if you want the most up-to-date, I would get Windows 7. Good luck. dl

before installing windows 7 you should check the compatibility of your hardware.. check the configuration of your PC. you may need to increase some features as windows 7 is much heavier then XP. I preferred XP over windows 7..

Windows 7 is very good.... And windows vista is not at all recommended.... For me Windows XP is the best.... I have been using Windows XP since a very long time now, though I have tried Vista and 7 for a few days....

I use the XP OS until I read your article that you have posted.I have to admit that the os is good with well behavior and stable performance ,the important point is it is free .but i will change my mind to use another os ,linux or unix. then I will tell you that that which os is best depends on your feeling about using the pc'os well.
