What good has facebook done to you?

Same me here, I saw my schoolmates in facebook, and most of all I saw my auntie, cousins, relatives living other country. They seldom going home because of money and their work and besides I am also living other city not in my hometown.

Hello Neelia, Facebook have also done something good to me, in my social needs it really helps a lot. but now, facebook is over used, and is all over to public, it may reach beyond the limit. ^-^ I rarely update my facebook now, I'm into my lot now. ^-^

My best friends daughter is on Facebook and if it wasn't for a site like this I wouldn't be in communication with my friend as much. She works a full time job and has weird hours. If I want to tell my friend something I just email her daughter on Facebook. My friend isn't into the internet at all so this actually works out very well.

Facebook keeps connected with my family, relatives and friends and of those co-workers and classmates during college and high school days. It also open my opportunities to meet new friends.

because of the war in our country, we all are scattered all over the world. So having contact with all of my relatives at a same time is impossible. Now a days face books help us a lot to have contacts with each others. we used to share our happy memories and pass jokes on others. thank you face book.

Yes. Same Here. Since i was away on my home town for a long time to study on another town yet because of facebook i was able to network with my old friends in highschool where i grew up.

Facebook has also allowed me to reconnect with old friends. For the most part that has been good. However, Ive been noticing that alot of people use fb to start smear campaigns against one another. Its also a breeding ground for trouble if the right people get to it. However I suppose you'll get a little of that where ever you go. THe sad part about it is that you assume the culprits to be children or teens. They're not! Its adults! For the most part I try not to indulge in the he say/she say mess. If we all try and avoid it fb could be a great reference tool. Happy facebooking. dl

I would have to say that I agree with most everyone here....I have caught up with friends from school. I check it many times a day to find out what is going on with everyone. I love it. It really seems odd if you know someone who isn't on Facebook.

That, I was so glad to see them since we have lost our communications since some of the mobile numbers has been changed. And we have not seen for years. Though, some social networking sites such as Facebook brings some disadvantages to some of their users, still, we can somehow depend on them, that, thru this social networking sites, we are able to get in touch with our long lost friends and relatives as well. Allowed me to talk to people I haven't seen or heard from in years and keep in touch with children/family who live in other states.

Although I do not get paid in that site, but I use it to promote my blogs and my other business. If you have many friends, that is the best traffic you can have if you have a business.

like you,i also gained back the friends i have not seen long time ago. and it feels fun to have contact with them again.though sometimes i felt different cause many years have passed and some attitudes have changed also. but still,i'm happy that i had seen them again though we are not close as before.

Facebook has also helped me to reconnect with friends I had lost contact with over the years. Since I moved away from my hometown, there were quite a few friends I left behind, through facebook I found them again. I never used to use facebook at first, but when I started getting friend requests from all those people I was glad I had opened the account.

it also happens to me my classmates from elementary have no communications but since facebook was introduced they started to appear ,im so glad to see and to chat them again,talking things that happens when we are young.

For me, facebook has made me reconnect with my classmates and friends in grade school and high school. Also, it lets me keep in touch with my friends in college especially now that we have graduated already. Facebook also helps me be informed on what's happening to them, and once in a while, I can talk to them and give some advices when needed. When I'm bored facebook apps really help me get through with it.

Same with you. I keep in touch with my old friends and even my relatives. My cousin made a joke one day that we all reunion on FB already LOL. Even after my cousin in OZ find me, we started to communicate more often. But sometimes I don`t like FB as more people give unnecessary comments whatsoever.

Facebook lets me connect with friends i haven't talked to in like a million years. They also provide chat so i can chat with other people live.

Facebook has done a lot of good things for me. Like you i was able to reconnect from people i have not seen for years , even decades. Aside from this, it is in facebook that i learned to play online games, and farmville was the very first one that i played and i enjoyed it very much and helped me in times when i get bored. I get to express also my interests in music and some other areas by posting relative articles on my wall. (^_^)

hello Neelia_lyn! Like you, i found my long lost friends and classmates from elementary, high school and college whom i have not seen for as long as 25 years! For this, i am utterly grateful to facebook for bringing us together once more, without having to travel miles. I also get to chat with my cousins and family from far away, while playing farmville, without having to pay big amounts for calls. thanks to facebook!

A good thing about facebook is I get to connect with my friends, relatives, classmates, etc even though we are far apart. I also use it to meet new people but sometimes, there are a lot of posers out there so you really don't know if you're talking to the person you see in the picture. My goal right now is to meet this girl I saw on facebook.
