I think that Rage Against The Machine is a very artistic and unique band. Let alone it's guitarists Tom Morello. Tom has shaped the sound of guitar playing into something unique and different. From harmonic sound effects to Hard rock Riffs to Hip-Hop Grooves, Tom has it all. For thos who haven't heard the band. Check them out on youtube.

i listen to RATM because of Tom Morello. i used to practice playing guitar 3-6 hours a day, and trying to figure out how in the earth he created such weird "noises". my gang formed a band and we enjoyed playing RATM tunes. 5 years ago we disbanded, and i went back listening and drooling to his masterpieces, and of course, the whole band's music :)
