..hi fellas.. Paulo Coelho is the author of the famous novel, The Alchemist. At first, I don't have any interest in reading his novels, but when I started reading the Pilgrimage, I've discovered that Paulo Coelho has a very good way of writing. His novels talks about issues of life in reality.. his novels discusses situations in life that we actually face.. I've gained a lot of how to deal with life's struggles through his book. I encourage you guys to read his books too.. How I wish I could meet him personally.. I know that he can teach me a lot about life..

"The Alchemist" is considered the best novel by Paulo Coelho, a novel of formation and the journey toward fulfilling their dreams.
It is a symbolic work, without any pronounced autobiographical nature of "Diary of a Magus", which has a basis. In "The Alchemist", a medieval mystic atmosphere merges with the voice of the desert, guided to the main character, Santiago to discover self and Divinity.
Adventure that starts in Santiago in search of a legendary treasure them an occasion meeting with a number of characters that will help him discover that the real treasure lies precisely in the wisdom gained.
"The Alchemist" urged by many symbols to assume destiny and follow your dreams as a means to discover the meaning of life and, thereby, of communion with the Divine.

Alchemist sounds familiar. Is it a tv series as well? I don't have any favourite authors. The kind of books i read depends very much on my mood and feelings for the day. I like to change about. Whatever suits me today, might not appeal to me the next day. I'm not being fickle minded, it's just that it's not easy to find something that can hold on to my interest for long. Once i get the hang of something, i will leave it.

I used to read his books. I've read The Alchemist, Warrior of the Light, By the River Piedra, Veronika Decides to Die, Witch of Portobello and Eleven Minutes. I admit he's good but after awhile I got tired of reading his works because the themes are always similar.

Paulo Coelho is one of my favorite writer. I was read The Alchemist, and I think its one of the best book ever. If I will make list of ten best books, this one will be surely on that list. Now I am reading Brida, but I am a little short in time, so it take me more time. I have also Zahir at home, so that will come next. I also like Coelho way of writing, and issues that he choose fot his books.

I've read The Alchemist and it will always be one of my favorite books. It is something that has had me analyze my own life in the context of what the characters were thinking. I have yet to read his other books. When I have some spare time, I will.

I read the Alchemist, Brida and Veronica Decides to Die. I like Alchemist the most because of the journey Santiago went to. All along, the end was at the beginning. He was considered to be a lunatic right? That's why he wrote Veronica Decides to Die. If you are a spiritual kind of person, you'll surely love his books.
