healing with yoga

hello i have also heard that many chronic diseases can be treated by yoga. how far is it true? do you believe in it?

Yes, I do believe you can cure certain pains and things like that with the help of yoga, back pains etc. for instance. And it also makes you more flexible of course, which also helps many conditions.

Yoga can indeed help many chronic illnesses. It doesn't always cure the problem, but it greatly helps. It can help fibromyalgia, arthritis, and so many more. It's important to start slow if you are a beginner. There are many DVDs one can buy that show people how to do yoga. Once a person is familiar with beginner's yoga, they can move up to more intricate work, and thus the benefits will be greater as well.

hi virashri yes Yoga can help in alleviating symptoms in many chronic diseases like: 1.Heart health: Heart disease patients who did Yoga for six weeks showed significant increase in artery, resulting in lower blood pressure and increased heart output. 2.Chronic back pain: Chronic lower-back sufferers experienced less pain after practising Yoga twice a week for six months. 3. Asthma and other pulmonary disorders: Practising Yoga for 2-3 hours a week, for ten weeks, helps in reduced symptoms of asthma and other chronic pulmonary disorders. 4.
