Did anyone see the movie Paranormal Activity...

Hello Guys.... I was just wondering if it really should be given a genre "Horror".... The caption says something like do not watch it alone or something.... Did anyone really feel it that scary....
In fact, a few days back I have heard about it and checked out its rating on Imdb and saw it was somewhere near 7.... Thought it was a superb horror flick.... So i downloaded it right away and watched it alone..... With lights off at night.... Stilllll.... I got bored.... It was like hell.....
Share your views about it.... Anyone who felt it scary... Please respond....

I don't really like scary movies. I would rather watch cartoons that see a scary movie. But with the way how you described the movie as something creepy then I might reconsider it. It 's a good way to get the attention of my kids who are very noisy unless something gets their attention. Based on experience they all huddle around me when something scary is showing and this movie may serve it purpose.

Common dude.... I dint say its scary.... It just says it is scary but it was just boring.... Anyways.... Thanks for responding dude.... By the way.... This is my first ever discussion at mylot..... hehe....!!!

Yes... it really is pathetic.... I dont know why one try to promote the movie in that way despite it being just a below average flick....

Yeah exactly.... I just dont know why some people feel it very much scary about it.... Somehow... Its too unrealistic and very much boring than many other horror movies.... Anyway.... Thanks for the response.....

I loved Paranormal Activity. In fact, I own it. However, I get more into the scary movies that are psychological than I do in the typical slasher films. I thought the idea behind it was great, and I am curious to see what they have done with the sequel to it.

Ohhh.... Great.... But I felt its way too slow and a little bit meaning less.... Because one will surely try to get out of the house when it is day and get to a place which is like they feel safe.... But the people there just seem to have no idea about changing the place.... More over.... When they know that they are being bothered by a ghostly presence how could one ever sleep so happily.... I found such things too bad to think.... Guess I have to see the sequel as soon as I can....
