I flew to Japan once. The first leg was from Jacksonville to Detroit and then Detroit to Narita (Tokyo). I then had to take 3 subways and another flight from Harita to where I had to go. Detroit to Tokyo was long and I can never seem to sleep on a plane when I really want or need to. So the return Narita to Detroit, prety much did me in, especially with a 6 hour lay over in Detroit before going on to Jacksonvlle. I had some drinks in the bar at the airport which only made me more fatigued. By the time I got to Jacksonville, I was so fried that I checked into a hotel instead of trying to drive home to Savannah. How about you?

The longest flight I've been on really wasn't that long at all! We flew from Pennsylvania to Florida and it was only 3 or 4 hours on the plane! Not long at all. One of these days though I will venture across the US, which will mean a much longer flight!

Three or four hours sounds a little long to go from PA to Florida. It used to take me that long to go from Philly to Houston.

I haven't really been on long flights, the longest being about 3 hours, traveling from Spain to Sweden. I've traveled farther away than that, when I was in Finland, but it wasn't a direct flight so it didn't take as long, so to speak. If it had been a direct flight it would've taken me about 4 hours, I think.

my first flight was 28 hours long. i had a stopover in Stockholm for an hour or so and then another one in Chicago for about 12 hours!!!!!!
Another flight was about 2 day long... I left around 8pm to Dublin, had to spend a night there. Then our morning flight was cancelled due to storm, it was delayed for a bout 6 hours. I got to Chicago and I missed my following flight, so they put me on the following one... pretty long, but fun. I love meeting all these people on my way.
