With the game being released in just a few days, any of you guys (or girls) going to get it? I have it pre-ordered hoping it will be less problematic than MW2. Not really into the whole zombie thing in COD titles, but hey whatever floats your boat, im just glad dedi servers are in and the nuke is out. Hopefully it will help cut back on 'hacking/cheating' and boosting.

Ohhh, I hated hackers in MW2, and that annoying lagging, I'd always be like "Oh yeah, I just stabbed you, wait you didn't die? You actually unloaded a whole clip on me 1 second ago???" And the game was made hacker friendly, the people could easily just say "noooo, I don't have any "chams" I'm just using my heart beat sensor really well". One game I had on cold blooded pro, ninja pro, and was sneaking around, just demolishing the other team with a huge killstreak, and all of a sudden I die from a missle, then I looked at the kill cam and the person dropped the missle right on me, instead of a group of well lit team-mates. I couldn't even see myself on killcam due to my perks, but he just picked me right off :D.

Never did play the first modern warfare, but I played World at War allllll the time, and only experienced lag on a few occasions, when I knew my internet provider was having problems for sure. MW 2 just had so many wrong things with the non-dedicated servers and what not.

So I got this game and I have to say whole heartedly it blows. Glitchy, laggy, problematic. Although the patches have fixed alot of my problems and many other users with problems (for pc obviously). I have to say its just not a very 'COD' feel to it. It seems very stiff, the overall graphics for people and weapons dont even look as if their finished, they look like clay renders done during production not for final publication.
I ended up just getting Battlefield Bad Company 2 and im playing that instead of COD BO. Its better looking and it feels more like a shooter users can play for hours instead of getting too annoyed with something not working correctly after 20 minutes. The only thing that puts new users off BFBC2 is the upgrading the weapons. Instead of 'buying them' you do actually have to get kills and help your team to level up. I found the best way to do that is with the medic class I got my defib in a couple of hours by just getting the odd kill here and there and throwing down med packs. Now I started worked on the other classes.

@wiggles, Don't like much about it at all do you? lol Can't say I blame you. The spawn system I forgot about to be honest thats how little interest I had playing it. I ended up playing BFBC2 and MW2 again. Even though MW2 has alot of its own flaws atleast sneak attack options still work in it which im also a fan of. I've been on a roll with it in BO and suddenly 2/3 of the enemy spawn right behind me. Im not a game programmer by any means but surely its not that hard to put a piece of code into the spawn system to say if an opponent is within so many ft or even viewable from a spawn point then don't spawn there, go to the next spawn point. It's alot more 'campy' also I feel. People just hiding with over-powered weapons collecting their killstreaks then calling them all in at once. Not a game id play often to be honest, I just wish steam would give out refunds lol

Let's keep hoping that the multiplayer is just as good (or improved) in MW2. And let's just hope the regular patches and updates will give hackers the ability to play with no cheats at all!
