PC vs Mac

Will this debate of which is better EVER end? I just got done watching what felt like 20 hours of youtube videos with the video makers arguing with each other which is better Apple Mac Or a PC.
Valid points obviously go both ways for each computer but Mac users seem to forget certain things. Alot of the GOOD less problem faced graphics cards (just to pick a random point) are NOT part of the Macs. Not one of them. ATI for example have ALWAYS had driver problems compared to alot (minutes a select few) Nvidia based drivers.
The Mac fanatics huge argument? The mac case looks better. Well not to sound horrible, but who cares what it looks like? When I custom build my pcs i dont go for looks i go for value, hardware to suit my needs and most importantly, reliability.
Also they say a Mac price wise is better than a pc? That is complete rubbish even me doing a rough price comparison with almost identical specifications the mac worked out almost $600 MORE expensive. In some cases alot more and in a few cases as low as $20 cheaper. So again no real valid argument as even the Ram in alot of macs aren't actually using the full capability of the CPU and motherboard.
The funniest part of the whole argument i heard? Windows desktops are cluttered. Some mac users (and im not bashing any mac users here, sorry if you get that impression but the 'hardcore' mac users? do some more research!!) are under the impression that WINDOWS causes a 'cluttered icon full' desktop. This is simply NOT true it is the USER who allows their desktop to become cluttered. There is options to hide icons and in windows 7 you can hide EVERY icon from your desktop in a click or two of a mouse. Mac users if they look around past their own desktop? generally its every bit just as cluttered
Their new argument since steam arrived on mac? Now true gamers will hit the scene. Erm what? Any TRUE gamer does NOT use a mac and they don't use alienware which is what Hardcore fanatic mac fans THINK. It's not fact like they call it its them assuming.
If you do want some laughs and giggles I say head over to youtube, search for the likes of PC vs Mac or even applesoldier and it will find a bunch of posts for both sides of the argument.
Im just tired of hearing Macs better no Pcs better Macs better bla bla bla... They BOTH have advantages and disadvantages. At the end of the day if you have extra to splash out on most macs and end up with lower hardware than you could on a pc? Oh well
Thoughts?

It depends which caters your need. Mac is expensive but very good in graphics, as far as I know no viruses created yet for mac. Windows is also good. Hardware problem is manageable by any techies not like mac that you should bring the machine to the service center.

A macs graphics system is no better than a PCs. A mac will use propriety hardware which is why its generally a bit more cheaper (it is cheaper and you do get a 3yr standard warranty dont forget). But at the same time I can go out build a system the same or slightly better, have a bunch of upgradability in it while having the exact same graphics card for it. Where this myth that a macs graphics system is better than any pc out there has always confused me. If you look at a macs specs it will actually tell you 99.99999% of the time exactly which graphic card it uses

Okay this is a really controversial topic. And I just want people to keep in mind that every individual has it's preference. It's about which is better, its about which works for you better. Microsoft and Apple are doing their best to suit every need of users that is why a broad range of selections are available. Whether it be PC or MAC.
Now from a person without any knowledge of computers standpoint. Obviously the Mac System is more user friendly, but from a person that has knowledge and is used to operate PC's, hes gonna have a bit of a headache the first time he uses Mac and Vice-Versa. I would have to say Mac is really effective for beginners and for Windows Users They may need to be a bit more a attentive on learning the type of operating system.

Windows Mac. Hands down. You can do so much with windows, you can customize it to the point where it is all perfect and suits your needs. Mac can be inconvenient, not all programs support MAC. In addition, PC is cheaper even though there is security holes, you can patch almost all of it by setting up your system properly.

In my opinion, Mac is better than PC, because you can't write virusses for Mac.
But i also like windows 7, because of the speed/graphics/games, most games don't work on Mac.
To end this debate, just all chose for linux, linux is far way the best!
