Well if you have read the book then you should know what will happen. Making two movies is a way for the movie makers to try to stay more faithful to the book so that fans are not so outraged when their favorite part of the book or something is cut out.

The reason it's cut into two parts is cause the last book haves a lot of details in them and J.K. Rowling wanted to put a lot of details from the book into the movie, but the director said it's too long for just one movie. So they cut the movie into two parts.

I think they didn't want to cut as much out of the book as would've been necessary if they only made one movie. I'm betting they are going to end it either when Harry and crew get captured or when they escape.

Well, the last book is pretty much packed with activity and information. It wouldn't do justice to the book if many relevant parts are omitted in the movie. Of course, there is always the objective to make money, but I don't really mind as long as it's worth watching.
