Places Where I Can Promote my Blog

I have a new blog and I would like to promote it. I had a blog before and I used EntreCard to promote it and got quite a bit of traffic to my blog and actually got a lot of comments. Anyway, EntreCard is epic fail these days so I'm looking for something like a social network or something for bloggers where bloggers can visit each others blogs and leave comments, etc. I'm just so bored because no-one comments on my blog, lol.
I don't want to buy ads or anything, just talk to people and meet new people -- find new blogs to follow and hopefully get people following my blog.

I love social bookmarking sites for this. They give great results, and there is quite a few of them out there. Stumbleupon is my favorite, but there are tons of other really good ones too, such as Digg.

Hi there, i am a beginner at making blogs and just made an account in blogger. I also wanted to try making blogs and at the same time can make an extra earnings with my blog. Have you tried making extra income with your blog? if so can you teach me how?

i know i am not expert in this aspect of blog promotion. i have blogs too. and i recognize that i know little to promote them. however, i am trying to build the contents of my blogs. i know from reading the words of experts, only quality contents and niche will make my blogs attractive and attract visitors from everywhere. i may be able to promote my blog and will get traffic, but the consistency will not occur if the contents are not there.
