Is there any website that can substitute Wikipedia? What do you think? To me this very site is of immense help whatever the subject may be. It is really tough for me to consider any site instead of Wikipedia for gaining knowledge. What's yours say abt that?

You may try Encarta and Britannica Encyclopedias. They are equally useful.

I think the Wiki has completely put the encyclopedia out of business. Do they even sell encyclopedias any more? In fact, with the increase accessibility of the internet, eventually book will be something only found in antique stores.

Probably not, because Wikipedia is really the best when it comes to providing information. Wikipedia is definitely one of the most visited sites in the world, and they so many articles because everyone is allowed to edit. Wikipedia takes all the information out there and puts it in one site, so everyone can easily learn about something instead of having to look at many different websites.

I think noone site can substitute wikipedia because in wikipedia a lot of information is provided on the search topic and much more link is provided about to take underneath knowledge. I am generally used this site to read the topic.
