Hi there, Every time I posted my topic discussion here in mylot I carefully monitored it. Monitoring how many responses, if my topic not reach 5 responses in one day I considered it not success because my aim here is to give topic discussion with quality not quantity. I'm not happy if my topic is no responses received considered it quantity only (for posting purpose and pointing system only). How about you? Did you considered quality or your after to quantity which give you more points or level? No problem the quantity but make sure there is quality in the topic, not re-cycle only.... share with us... thanks see you around.

Well having both is really a good balance for me. Of course quality posts will lead to the discussion perhaps gaining interest and maybe inspiring more people to join in. Then again, you could argue that some people could go and see the number of posts and decide that it must be a hot discussion, so they could really step in and add their two cents to the topic. I think that a post with a decent amount of quantity can also have quality. If there is something to be said, then you can really say it in many words or a few words, depending on how much you need to say. I think that if there are five or more responses as well, then I am well on the way. Zero responses just tends to depress me a lot of the time, as it makes me wonder where I went wrong.

Hi visavis, I feel the success of the post and eventually the monitory value it should get should depend on the quality of the post and not the number of responses that it gets. Sometimes good quality post which is made by careful studies does not attract any response where as simple one line question attracts loads of responses. I don't know how mylot judges the posts for payment but it should be as I said above.

hello friend, Again and again i respond the same from my previous responses with almost same topic that you asked here my dear friend. I am here for a year, almost 2 years now (can't remember when i first signed up here)and, each time i started a topic,i don't think of responses to come and overflow. All i had in mind is,to express what i feel and that's it. Sometimes, time difference makes a lot of sense when posting discussion. Mosts mylotters are active during night time,(and take note that, mylotters came from different part of this globe, with different zone and time table as well) That's a good thing to consider of,so,don't worry if your discussion don't have too many responses from what you've expected. I always responded to topics that i can relate with, not for the quantity or quality. As long as i can relate to it,have fun with my friends and other mylotters, then it matters. Happy weekend

Yes, quality is always important especially in business. It's not just about providing a service or selling lots of stuff it's making other people happy about what you do and contribute. And yes quality with what you write about is also great. For my case I always start topics that help others because it makes you feel good in return.

i dont post for the sake of posting only. my objective is to make people think when i set a discussion. by that, i have to be very careful with what i write. i check my grammar, too, and the idea of the discussion has to be interesting and clear enough for people to be engaged.

I do consider quality discussions because the discussion starter put in effort to think about a discussion that many other different members would be interested in replying too. There are many other many other member that write a lot of quantity discussions and then they don't make sense and I wouldn't feel like responding to. I think its really important to think about a discussions that get other people thinking and replying to.

Hi Visavis, I go for quality. My thought is the same with you. And besides to get some earnings in mylot, I also look for other opinions and views on my discussion so that I could extend my knowledges. Also we would get the correct answer as well as solution on our questions and wonders.
