I want to get my son something that he can take to church with him and sing. Is a Portable Karaoke machine good for this? I can't afford a high priced one. If anyone knows anything about these machines and can recommend a good one that is not to costly, please help out. Thanks

Why don't you buy him a portable sound system and a cheap mic. Why would you buy him that anyway? Churches are supposed to be quiet. He'll be thrown out of there if he used it there.

I've been having trouble finding thise around where I live also.
I understand that about most churches. But I believe it is time for the church to stop being so quiet and stand up. They is why the world is in such a mess because the church started to be a social club instead of really serving God.

Have you looked on amazon? I find some great bargains on there and I don't know where you've looked but I would imagine there are a few available that don't cost the earth. I know there's one here in the united kingdom in a shop called "Argos" that as been reduced from £60 to £25 but I have no idea about over in the States. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=portible+karaoke+system&x=0&y=0
Goodluck finding one though, have a look around bargain places and second hand stores. I don't know how you feel about them sort of places but you can find some great things.

The only portable and light karaoke machine with mic included that I know is the Magic Sing and im not sure if it's available at your location as well. you can try to inquire about it at any appliance store or electronics outlet.
