why XP?

Windows XP introduced several new features to the Windows line, including: Faster start-up and hibernation sequences Windows XP features a new task-based graphical user interface. Many visual effects were added, including: A translucent blue selection rectangle in Explorer Drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop Task-based sidebars in Explorer windows The ability to group the taskbar buttons of the windows of one application into one button The ability to lock the taskbar and other toolbars to prevent accidental changes

I like it because it's the most stable and fastest version these days. It's compatible with older software, as well as modern programs too. And foremost, it has the nice Windows user interface that we are used to use, as Windows Vista and 7 had many features arbitrarly removed. I plan to continue using it until no software supports it.

It is compatible with tons of software that I love.

I still have alot of computer games that I like to play, and they are not compatible with vista or windows 7. That's basically the main reason I like xp. I also like that its easy to use. My desktop computer has XP, and I don't think that I'll change that.
