When a couple get married they leave their parent's house.Because they are preparing to create their own family. To live in your own home without your parent's has many options, you as couple may consider renting an apartment, buying house and lot or buying lot and hire laborers to build a house according to the design you prefer. But now a days due to high cost of materials needed to build a new house I think it's impractical to do that, In my opinion it's more practical to buy already built house, which cost cheaper. That was only according to my observation. How about in your opinion, would you think its practical to buy already built house or not? Why?

I think alot of issues can come up with this discussion such as location, what you had to pay for the property for this house to be built, what is the selection of houses for sale in your area and the big one for today is income.... It is very hard to make any kind of house payment used or built if your income is not the best in the world..... There are more programs being offered for houses for sale though that is based on income high or low...... Building may not give you alot of these options

Yes I do a agree there is a lot issue concerning this discussion, you have of course need to to consider location and prices of house available. It's good to consider housing programs, it's affordable but in the long run, it would be expensive because they double the price like when you pay it for 15 years or more.

Yes I agree with you, ready made or built house is better than to construct your own. It is more convenient because you can transfer anytime you like and that lessen or cut your cost for house rentals. But if I have a choice I would prefer a house I designed and wanted to.

Yes you have a point. Buying ready made house id practical, but if you have more money it's good to design your own.

I think its more practical to buy an already built house as you are not spending money putting in applications for planning permission that may not be accepted aswell as all the stress of getting the laborers to do it as you planned. You have to choose the right area for you and your partner for now and the future though. Me and my wife rented for abit and then got a mortgage and brought our own house that needed quite alot of work doing to it, but it was quite cheap so we had enough money left over on our budget to decorate it and do the necessary work which let us put our own mark on the place.

Now that pre-built houses is the trend many business minded people are on the lookout for a good site to go with the flow. Some build affordable homes ready for occupancy, others were fully furnished.so its up to you to decide.

Hi mayrah, Either you can build a house or a buy a built house depends on your budget, cash in hand, the loan available in bank on the property. If the building is new you will not have any problem in getting a bank loan. Also the resale value is important and naturally the value of the area in the city or town.Basing on all these factors you need make a wise choice not just taking a decision. Hope my answer helps.

For me, its ok to buy an already built house. Its not the house you know. Its the people living there. As long your together with your love ones and as long your happy in your life thats the most important.

Well there are houses that people just move out of and sell that you can move into. I think those are your best options. Then there are houses that are brand new that are build and brought onto your land. Then there are the houses that you hire people to build from the ground up. The cheapest I would think would be buying a house that someone just moved out of that doesnt need much fixing up.

Now is a very good time to buy a preowned house. Foreclosures are at a record level. One can talk down a price most everytime. When the housing market does come back, one could make big gains on the value of this house. It's just like free money.

some of the ready made houses aren't that sturdy because you don't really know what materials were used, most of the time they cheat on materials so they can save. so i think you save more in the long run if you will have your house built for you, also you can personalize it.. just saying.

Well, it depends on some perspective. If we base on the price of the house and direct availability of it, then I would prefer to buy the ready-made house. In this way, it can lessen our time and effort on what materials to buy, where is the right place, who will work for it, and so many other things. It can also lessen the problems in thinking and deciding the cost, materials and any other necessary things needed. If there is already a built house, then it is now easier and comfortable to transfer directly. On the other hand, if one prefer on what place and the design of the house, I will not choose the already made house because I can decide the right place and design according to my plan.
