Ofcourse I prefer calls but here in my country, Philippines, calls are much more expensive than texts. That's why just to be practical most of us Filipinos text rather than make a call eventhough we're very eagre to call somebody all the time or have a chit chat for a long period of time.
Calls are much more expensive but it's nice to hear your loved ones voice once in a while. Texts are way cheaper, however, it consumes a lot of time. So texts doesn't pretty much work for lazy people hehe.
To sum it up, I think I'd rather go for texts than calls. It's much more practical and will save you a few bucks.:)

I prefer text because it's much cheaper than call. But when it comes to my family I would rather make call because I don't want my message to delay especially when there is important message I need to send or if there's an emergency. Text message sometimes takes ages before it the person receive the text though it doesn't happen all the time.

I prefer to text as i find it easier to contact people and talk to people via writing than by talking on the phone. Its easier for me to express myself and say what i want to say without forgetting some of it. I do also prefer it of i'm out somewhere busy and don't have much time or not in the right place to hear the person on the other side of the phone properly.

You already know, girl I am more of a caller then a texter. That's why you like talking on the phone instead of texting cause of me. I just think it so much easier just to talk to someone then trying to type out every single word that I have to say to a person. Sometimes its frustrating and sometimes it hurts my hands. But guess what, when you wouldn't talk to me on the phone, you got me into texting for a bit and now forget it, we both like talking.

If I am going to use the phone, it is going to be calling a person. I think that texting personally is something that is just a waste of time and energy. It is just something that I have never got anything. If I am going to communicate through someone in text and quickly, I will just shoot them an e-mail. There is really nothing more than that, simple and doesn't require use of a phone, since I'm more likely to be near a computer these days.
So yeah, if its important, I'll just call them and talk to them in person. If it is just informal, casual, an e-mail is the best to go. I am not a fan of texting, as I said, it is has never stuck with me. Plus I think my eyes would hurt staring at words on a small screen on and on for hours at a time, like some people do when they text. But then again, that might just be me.

Between same mobile network, calling is not expensive. Or you can send a massage. For different networks, I prefer to text. The "Mobitell" and "Dialog" are the leading service providers in our country.
I have a mobitell connection and never make a phone call to a different network like dialog, and sent text massages instead.
charges for mobitel to mobitel (we called m2m) = 2.1Rs
mobitel to other = 2.8 Rs :/
So I think it's better to text between different networks :)

I don't like to text unless it is my only or option or i have someone i don't really want to talk to. True feelings and emotions can't be expressed when you can. you can only do that through voice contact.

since I am using a prepaid phone connection, I prefer texting than talking because it is expensive to talk. They will charge you for talking in the phone. In my country there is no charge to the receiver of the call. It is only the caller who will be charge, so whenever someone will call on my cellphone I will ignore or cancel the call and text them instead.
