Lately sleeping has become my favourite activity. I cant get enought of sleep and I do sleep a lot.
What do You do to get quality sleep during the day, so You can sleep little bit and feel awaken the following day?

I just graduated highschool, but when I was at school I would usually go to sleep at midnight or even later, at 1am or 2am. I would then have to wake up at 6am, resulting in 6-4 hours sleep daily. If I have an assignment due which I haven't completed, I would get 3-2 hours sleep, or sometimes none at all if I pull an all-nighter. On weekends, it depends on what I do. Yesterday I went to bed at 9:30pm, which is very early for me. Usually I sleep in on weekends unless I have to go out the next day, but I try to get more than 9-10 hours of sleep. If I am really fatigued and want to do nothing else but sleep, I'll sleep for 12-15 hours.
For me, it may sound strange but if I go to bed early, I'll wake up feeling very tired and needing more sleep, whereas if I get 4-5 hours sleep, it will be enough. The best thing to do is to get a lot of excersize during the day (or go for a jog/run in the evening), have a nice bath (or a steaming shower if you have no time), don't eat or consume caffein a few hours prior to sleeping, don't use the computer or any other electronic goods such as tv or videogames about 2 hours prior to sleeping, and perhaps listen to soothing music (don't listen to hard rock music, for example) before sleeping.

I would like to sleep for 7 - 8 hours...Usually experts say that 8 hours of sleep is necessary for the complete refreshment of our body and mind..

I do not sleep often on the week days as I have to stay up and study because I'm a full time student. On the weekends, I try to sleep more making up the sleep I lose when I don't sleep during the week.

I'm sleeping about 7-8 hours a day... and I try and get a nap at around lunch time most of the time as I read recently somewhere that your body's tiredness is related to your body's internal temperature, which dips at lunch time! Has anyone ever noticed that they tend to feel drowsy during lunch time, or is that just me after reading that book..? =D

I would sleep more if I could. But I personally have a hard time falling asleep, so on weekdays when I have to get up early for school, I oftentimes don't get much sleep. On the weekend I tend to be able to sleep longer hours, and I love it.

I love sleep a lot and can be very irritated if I don't. I sleep 8 hours on most nights. I have trouble staying awake once it gets to be late afternoon like around 4 to 5PM so I usually have 2 cups of tea or one cup of strong coffee with my lunch and wears off by dinner time. I'm on my feet for about 7-8 hours a day so I tire myself out so by bed time, I can fall asleep easily and not waste time tossing and turning. I think having a steady sleeping routine can make you feel awaken the following day. I go to school and work so I learned that time management is important. I do whatever it takes for me to sleep around the same time every night and get 8 hours of sleep.
