My ex-girlfriends were all younger than I was except for one who was a year younger. My ex-girlfriends were a few years younger then I was. My current girlfriend and I have a five year age gap and I believe that is fine and I don't see it as a problem because age is nothing but a number. How about you? Do you think age gaps are a problem, have you dated someone older or younger than you? How did it go?

My boyfriend is 15 years older than me. We just started the relationship not long ago. So far most things are alright. We have quite a lot of common interests so it's enjoyable being together. However, I would worry sometimes, thinking maybe he would think I am too childish because I always cry but he says nothing.

It would depend if i fell in love with them... but as i've found my wife now it doesnt matter. I don't think i would like anyone too much older or too much younger than me though. My wife is only 5 months older than me... so theres not much difference between us.

i personally believe that it is a bad idea to date someone who is a lot older or younger than you are. I am not judging, because I know people who have made it work, but from my experience a big age gap, also means a big interest gap, beyond the normal boy/girl thing. When I was dating someone a bit younger than me, we had different interests, different groups of friends, and it just did not work.

personally i dont mind dating guys of any age as long as there personality fits. i mean some guys at young ages are more mature than others and some guys who are older and alot immature than they are suppose to be .. i have dated both.. it really doesnt matter..
