Who do you think so far has been the best mind of the times? Out of philosophers and scientists, mathematicians and psychologists...Einstien and Newton, Plato and Aristole. There are so many to choose from but who do you think achieved the greatest feats? Who do you thinks work was most important. Is there anyones work who if it never existed might of changed the complete coarse of human history?
There are so many great minds. I am learning a little here and there about all of them and I just wanted others opinions on this.

I think that it could very well be the minds of two people, Watson and Crick who were able to start decoding the mystery of human DNA. It has been through their discovery and the work of their successors that we've been able to learn about the origin of disease and this has helped to find ways to treat a number of different genetic disorders that there are in people today. I know that other people have different opinions of who the greatest minds are, but I don't think that the world would be the same if it weren't for their discoveries.

I think, nothing is more powerful than a mind of a prophet. Imagine, he could affect people's lives and change the way humans think its time until the humans alive today. His mind was far beyond the power of human thought, and redeem the time and place you've never imagined by anyone, that is heaven and hell

I believed Nostradamus played a big role in philosophy and world history. So many philosophers, scientists, mathematicians, etc learned a great deal from him and other great minds like Plato, Aristotle, Einstein, Newton, Franklin and so on. Like you said there are so many to choose from, it is really hard to pick just one great mind! :o) Great discussion though...it's one of those that actually make people think! Happy mylotting

Thanks for your response. I don't know if I could decide just one either. I think Newton touched on a lot of interesting things. He is definitely one of my favorites. I love the quotes collected from great philosophers, they really make me think and inspire me.
