Man, just 2 years ago, everyone was on the Obama band - wagon...now that we've seen his strengths and WEAKNESSES...I sense the dynamics of regret at work! Well, all you 'voters of change', what in the world happened? It's like the American public abandoned ship. What about 2012? Are all of those who voted for him will again turn their backs on him and the Democratic party? Lemme know your take on our paradigm shift and what you think about Obama now...

It is my opinion that like most politicians, once he got in office his campaign promises were set aside and his true agenda put on the table. I was not one who voted for him, and I hope he's not reelected.

I think all of the support for Obama was just for the attempt to try something different, to hopefully get the country out of the state that it is in. Obviously, different does not mean better and the presidency of Obama has not gone as well as we could have gone. Of course, given the situation that he was in, I just wonder if anyone could have turned it around, but you can play with what ifs all day. In the end, whoever got elected in 2008 was going to have their work cut out for them.
The next two years of his first term will really see if he gets elected in. Right now, the odds may be against him, I think. However time will tell. It really does depend on who runs against him in 2012 as well. That is always a deciding factor. Between that and what he does in the next two years, it will be the deciding factor. I think that anyone who was elected president in 2008 was doomed in general, it just depended on what level of doomed that they were. 2012 looks to be more then the same.

Did you happen to catch Obama when he was on the Daily Show? It really pointed out to me how ridiculous people have been about supporting Obama full on, then criticizing him so much so fast. People want change, but we can't expect things to be changed overnight, or even a couple years. As is, I still support Obama.
