are you happy if your wife has a big income?

he should not be changed so .........let me how a husband should be respected even though it duties and responsibilities as husbands family there ....... if the wife had a high income it means good fortune for the family's not why we should be humble husband .......

Most men have ego and pride. If their wife or gf is earning much more than them, man will be unhappy. In the past, no men will ever be happy or even proud because of their conservative thinking. Even for now, much as man can accept the fact their wife is waning more, but some older generation do mind it. It's especially the case when parents know about their son's earning power compared to his wife. To parents, woman should be housewife but not a career woman.

It wouldn't bother me if my wife had a higher income than me aslong as we can pay the bills and both get time with the kids and together. I think its important that both parents have their own independence so its a good idea that both parents have jobs even if its not just for the money.

Yes I would be happy and because of that, I would have the urge to find a job with greater salary as hers LOL! :D

I dont think there is any harm in it. Its er capability tht she is earning good and if as a man i cant earn tht much, then i shld not blame her but respect her for what she is earning... As a man i will not feel jealous because she is earning good, i will pray infact tht her salary should grow year by year... because if tomorrow I die, then she only has to take care of everythng so everythg gonna help her ..

I dont think that I ll feel insecure when my wife ll be earning more than me, she is family member and her earning ll be used in family raising, so it ll be very good for me, and I think it is true for me that I ll be proud of my wife to have high salary... Have a nice day

Why not,She can pay me for my clothes shoes and mu unlimited cell phone bills. I do not feel any insecurity because she is a sweet person. For that matter if she is making good income it is good for both wife and husband. Happy earning.

It really depends on the culture of the area you live in. Some places won't even allow women to work, while other areas are fully supporting equality between women and men, which includes being proud of a woman making money.
