I'm not the one who would spend thousands on clothes, I'm a very thrifty spender but I also consider fashion and quality. The other day while on Facebook, something caught my attention, you know those ads on the far right corner of your screen?
One of them was top-dresses.com. I hurriedly clicked on the link and wow they got some really beautiful clothes there, not just clothes, they shoes and bags too. And what's best about it? It's affordable, even the shipping fee.
After researching and found out it's a legit online store, I'm making my purchase soon.
Just a preview of what you will see there. Love it!

I enjoy shopping and I am a budget spender. I purchase name brand, good quality clothes at Department stores mostly Macy's. I never buy from stores that I am unfamiliar with especially online because I have trust issues and plus I can't judge the quality, fabric on the internet and the sizes vary as I vary depending on clothes so I prefer to shop in stores than online. I rarely shop online and if I do, the shipping must be free and you could refund in stores other than that, I will not purchase the items.

I can see where you're coming from, but I have shopped online a couple of times and didn't have any problems. You're right though, the shipping fee burns a hole in your pocket sometimes.

I have come across lots of sites with cute clothes but the shipping fee does burn a hole :( Especially if you find something cheap the shipping cost would make the clothes back to as if it wasn't on sale. Good luck with shopping :) Hope it all works out for you and welcome to myLot!!

Well I think the most logical thing to do to save on shipping fee is to invite your friends to shop online too and divide the postage. That's what I did :D

Hi there angelkillah, I can see that this is your first discussion, and I welcome you to mylot.
Regarding your discussion, even though I live in a big city, at times, I find some good things on the net. I particularly like to shop online on ebay. The reason being they are quite prompt and their service is excellent. I tried a few other on line sellers, which are not so prompt when compared with ebay.
The best part in ebay, is at times they give a discount coupon, and mostly the postage is free.

Thank you for welcoming me, I shop on ebay especially beauty products because the ones I use aren't available in the philippine market and yes they have very good service and are very accommodating, I have become friends with the sellers too.

Hi, I also shop on eBay. Every day name brand clothing items are being sold at a fraction of the retail price for those willing to buy preowned. Regarding the shipping charges, you can narrow your search criteria to only view items with free shipping. As long as you buy from a seller who has good feedback, it is a safe and fun way to save money, while still getting Buyer Protection. Another money saving tip regarding online shopping is coupon codes, which are very easy to find online by doing a web search. When buying onling from retailers, coupon codes can be entered at checkout and really save a lot of money. I've even seen coupon codes for free shipping, as well as printable coupons for totally free items such as makeup and fragrances.

i love to shop online. for a few reasons. I use a certain website that i shop with and earn cash back. then there are the online savings you get that you can't get in the store. then you don't have to be bothered with all the crowds of people and such! i love shopping online

I haven't really purchased any clothing online yet but I have purchased other things like I get a detox tea mailed to me every month from an online site. My shipping fee is $6 every month and that bothers me to pay that but I can't get this tea offline and it is really good so I have to pay it whether I like it or not.
I have checked out the link in your discussion and I have saved it as a favorite so I can show it to my daughter. My daughter buys almost all of her clothes online and she has been very happy with almost everything she has received. Very seldom has she had a problem with any of them. My only concern about this site is the quality of the clothes.
Have you purchased anything from them yet and if so, what is the quality like. Are they made of good material or are they going to fall apart once you wash them. It is better to see and feel the material but I would think that they take returns if you don't like it.
I haven't checked out their shipping charges yet but I will since I live in Canada and it might cost too much to ship to me. I might just try to buy something for myself because they are really cheap in price so I want to see the quality. I will let you know if I do, what the quality is like.
Cheers and Happy mylotting my friend

Well, i have done that once in my life. Is it donating is shopping also? I spend $70 for it. I used paypal though. You guys what kind of online payment do you use? They say that western union has a lots of payment including tax. But in paypal, tax free and you spend exact to the price of the item of your choice. Back to the topic. If I have a the money again in my paypal account, i would like to shop online with free shipping. That's all thank you. Happy my lotting.

I have never tried paypal because some of the online shops are local so it's mostly just bank to bank, no surcharge.

I love online shopping, but nor for shoes or clothes. Those items I rather prefer to see them first and try them before deciding to get them. I use online shopping for books, gifts, courses... I love online studying...

I spend abit of money online shopping, but not loads.... but then i don't have loads of money to spare anyway so i wouldn't be able to. I do find it fun when things i've ordered appear in the post, but its much more fun picking them.

I only actually shop on Amazon.com. I have rarely used any other online shopping sites. There are several out there but none that I really look at all that much. I think that there are some good shopping options though.

Hi dear,
Yes, I do online shopping. But it is better to have few preparations before go for it. I always find the product quality from outside, if possible find somewhere the price comparison, product requirement, seller's history. In fact I did an online shopping one week back also and the product is fine. When I signed up the deed, I find the seller is nearby and I personally collect the product directly within 4 hrs. time.
Also, as the online shopping is become so popular and effective, we will get the product with quality. But a pre-awareness of the product and price difference comparison is to be done so that we can exactly come to know the value of the same. But certain things like dress and ready made cloths, prices cannot be compared with branded one as all are exclusive for the seller rates.
Regards.
Thank-s

I used to like shopping for cheap products in ebay and recently tried an online auction which i regretted joining. We are buying bids to bid for the items but i end up winning none of the auctioned items after spending hundreds of dollars in buying the bids...
Sometimes, it depends on luck when you shop online. I manage to save some money buying cheap products/imitation from ebay but ended up losing to online auction :(

Of course and I love it!!online shopping is a way to buy easily and quickly. You have access to limited edition merchandise or are not sold in your country. We are able to compare prices before make decison to buy or some reservations. We also have opportunities to shop at any time no matter the day, night or midnight. i usually shop for a korean fashion. love it so much!!

I have never shopped online to places for dresses or anything girl related. I need to actually try the garment on to see how it fits and how it looks. I am built a little differently than most women so it makes it alot harder for me. I have alot of muscle so it hinders alot of garments. However NFL shops or sporting items. I absolutely love shopping for. My fiance is a huge NFL fan so I shop alot for him but ever now and again I find something that I like and I need to have.

Hi! Yes, I shop online and I love it. Next week I will order a shirt and a watch. You know, it's much more affordable to shop online. Come to think of it, those stores don't have a shop to rent, and sale clerk to pay for, no utilities etc. so it's really much cheaper. Happy Shopping!
