which relationship is genuine whether friendship or blood related?

They say blood is thicker than water. HOWEVER there are times when your friends are more of a family than your relatives ever were. Being "genuine" is really up to you. If you feel more like yourself in one particular group, the I guess that would be genuine. If you feel like you have to change yourself to fit in or if you have to pretend to be somebody you are not to be accepted, then that would be a false relationship. Again, it is how you deal with them and yourself that makes it real.
