Hi jmayangcoF .
While being religious is nice (depending what religion one is ), for many people it's kind of tough to like the Holy Bible until they have a personal relationship with God through Christ.
I kind of God hooked on reading the Bible about four or five months before I committed my life to Christ. That was in 1969 and friend got me listening to Billy Graham. Rev. Graham was preaching a lot on Revelation, so I started reading that.
It scared me! But I read Revelation four times before I surrendered to Christ!
If you do commit to Christ, start reading with 1 John, then the Gospel of John. These are great primers for new Christians.
As time goes on, ask God to help you enjoy the rest of the Bible, and as you make an effort to read it, He will answer your prayer.

You can bring your Bible if you like, but not as a compulsion! Read the Bible when you feel like, but dont feel burdened if you dont! Keep yourself aware about the world around you too... dont get drowned in the heavenly words of the Bible! And if you ever talk to some friends about it, speak in plain clear English, else they will not understand. And remember, if you do not practice it, theres no use of reading it!

I don't carry it with me everywhere, but I do read it everyday. I am so blessed by God's Word, as it helps me in my daily life, and I wouldn't want to be without Christ in my life or have the Bible to read. I always pray before reading it as well, as we should never read the Bible before we pray, as we gain a better blessing from praying. I always ask the Holy Spirit to put into my mind and heart what he wants me to know so that I can tell others as well. My life hasn't been perfect by any means, but it would be much worse if I didn't have Christ in it, that is for sure. Take care, and have a good day.

Bible reading is good. I read a verse or chapter once in a while. But sometimes I forgot about it, maybe later I will continue. I can't say I'm religious because I have a different meaning of it though. What can I say is I believe that there is GOD :)

No, I am not a religious person, so I just don't read bible at all. So, I won't bring any bible to anywhere. Simple is that. If you really believe in your God, and you should have his wordings in your heart that should be enough. Not necessary to bring Bible anywhere you go.
