My kitten has this belly fat which is not good to see, it's like sagging when he is walking, you know when a mother is feeding her baby kittens? it almost kinda look like that. He is still young kitten, would you think it will disappear later on?

you might just end up with a fat cat. i never heard of a kitten having that much belly fat.

It's impossible to say without more information. But it sounds as if you are overfeeding him. A young cat should not be like that.

I don't think so. It could be just the way the cat is lying. My cat sometimes appears to have bellyfat, but does not actually have it, it is just the angle he is lying on sometimes that makes him look like he has belly fat.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Some cats just have that look about them. It's not bad for them. Each cat is an individual and has his/her own build just like different people are just built differently. Unless your vet says it's a problem, just accept it.

P.S. My spayed female has grown a tummy and looks permanently preggers, too. The rest of her is skinny enough, though, so I don't worry about it.

It is true that neutered cats will have this. I have 4 male cats, and the one who is neutered has this. It is loose skin. If he gets fatter it actually looks better, because it has firm fat tissue in it and sways back and forth less! And I have a cat who isn't neutered who eats fast and then steals the other cats' food, so he is a little fat, (a lot bigger than the neutered cat) but doesn't have this because he is not neutered.
