What is your greatest frustration in life?

My frustrations are so many. Here are some:
1. Frustrated actress
2. Frustrated artist
3. Frustrated dancer
4. Frustrated band singer
5. Frustrated author
6. Frustrated movie director
7. Frustrated doctor
I was a theater actress from elementary to college but when I got my regular job, I cannot find time to continue. I am very good in painting and photography. But because there's not much money in it, according to my father, I stopped aspiring for it. I was a band singer during college, but lost the opportunity when I started working as HR. I was a screenplay author and theater director but it also went away when I started working. I wanted to become a doctor... but I don't have much money to pursue the said course and now it seems too late already to study again.
Those are my frustrations. What about you?

Very late reply, I hope this wont get deleted. My greatest frustration in life is to become a violinist. I love the sound of the violin, I love to play it. But it doesn't love me back. I can't find time to practice since I have lots of going on in my life. Well, maybe someday.

Wow! That is also one of my frustration. I haven't tried playing the violin though because I cannot find someone who would willingly lend their violin. It would also be unpractical if I buy one when I don't know how to play it.
Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, its impractical to buy one if you don't have a teacher. Some though succeed in teaching themselves. I have a friend who taught himself and I was so envious. I bought one and took lessons for months and I stopped because I cant afford anymore. I still play from time to time, but I still produce a scratchy noise. I'm hoping that the irritating noise would be gone and would turn into a beautiful sound.

This is fun, rather than frustrating! haha Admittedly, I am a frustrated model, singer, lawyer, writer and a lot more..but that didn't stuck my goal to reach other dimensions in life. what I didn't expect to become happened without a single effort, and that I am contented with..

Hi dynzdolina.
Nice to hear that you are contented with what you have. Maybe you can still pursue writing. You see, I get to earn by writing articles. There are some sites who shares their earning by submitting your written article on different topics. One site is the Triond. You can also write book reviews if you love reading.
I wish you luck in all your endeavour. Happy mylotting.

what do u mean your a frustrated "model, singer, lawyer", do u mean you've got a degree in all those things and you can't get a job in them or does it mean you can do them, but your not good enough at each one and people have turned you down or your just making it up, to sound interesting or what.

Whew, too many frustration. Well i fall to other category you mention but not enough to get me frustrated but just a sort of dream which i like to do but have limited access or resources. So what i do now is to learn to be useful by diverting myself to discover and explore other avenues where i could utilize my talents and discover more tools to enhance it. At least you experience it even you do not fully practice it while to me it just remain a dream or desire it may be too late but somehow i know you could find satisfaction in other areas just waiting for you to explore..

You have a very positive outlook in life. That's the best way to see it. Thanks for sharing your opinion. I agree with you. There are other avenues and opportunities that life presents to us. Let us just learn how to take advantage of God's given opportunities to us.
Happy mylotting.

My frustation : FRUSTATED AUTHOR.
I always want to become an author and published my own books. And now I am ending up doing office job which I don't like it at all. I don't know why I do that, but it seems like it is not right.
And.. I AM A FRUSTRATED ONLINE EARNER. haha..
You may laugh on that one. But it's real. I first think, rather than working on my office, I had better sit at home and do some online earning like I am doing here.
But I still don't know how to make quite much income so that I can earn my living from here. I don't need much, 300 usd is enough for me. :P

It is hard to find online job that you would really want doing. Also, working on your own as online freelancer would mean you must have discipline and be able to focus. The same goes in writing novels. You need to let go of your imagination, work hard and religiously, keep on writing and keeping your focus. I can see that you have a good writing skill. Do not give up and thank you for sharing your frustration. And I hope you'll find the chance to make your dreams come true.

1.) PEOPLE

3.) self disappointment
4.) the arcade game Robotron
5.) the Rubik's Cube
6.) trying to figure out the magic trick Tom Cruise uses to make that CD disappear in Mission Impossible
7 and finally.) The bane of my existence, the pinnacle of my frustration's potential, the twist in my undies...FOX News.

Hahaha. You made your frustrations sounds funny. I see though that there's a lot of sense being frustrated with a lot of things around us. But not losing our humor in life would make it more bearable and easy to live with.
Thanks for sharing foofermen.

things that make me frustrated in this life only one that is life itself. We never know what happens in the future, and we never can guess when this life ends

I hope you have faith of a better future. Faith is believing on the things unseen. It is more important to look at things that we cannot see and know that pains makes you feel and alive. I just had a bad fall and when I was not able to do the things that I used to do, I learned how thankful I should be because of the sufferings other people go through, while, on the other hand, I am given a full life, strength and skills.
Just an opinion that I wanted to share.
Hope you'll find happiness.

Well as for me,my frustrations are: frustrated singer,I love singing but once I start singing the song it just goes all wrong. Second,a frustrated cook,I can cook and knows a few dishes, but I know I'm not that great with cooking. I love to prepare foods for my family and love ones,I just can't come up with a great dish that everyone would really really like. Third,I'm a frustrated actress, I was In stage plays and always at the limelight during my highschool days and was given a chance to be a movie artist but my grandmother and my dad declined the offer. Fourth,a frustratd dancer,I used to dance when I was in highschool and college. I'm really good at it,but when I started working,I wasn't able to participate in any of those. Wish I had done all those before and were excellent in doing all of it now. ^_^

I'm a frustrated ballet dancer and a singer. I really love to dance and sing, but I don't got much of a talent in both. I can dance, I can sing, but i'm not just good enough.

I am a frustrated singer, just a singer.Well i can sing not as a professional singer.Along time ago when I was just a young boy,I really love to be a mimicking singer to my idol-just a local celebrity singer. Until now,a college student who has a frustration to be a singer.Maybe I cannot be a famous singer, but in my own way I am already a singer to my family.

I'm glad for you. At least you're still able to enjoy the things that you want to do. Also, at least you get to sing for your love ones. I believe that makes them happy.

Hi! in my case, I really love music, but it doesn't love me back. I cannot sing to save my life! So I am a frustrated singer. Since I cannot sing or even play an instrument, I managed a band when I was in college. I was still around music so I was still happy.
I am also a frustrated artist. I want to draw, but my hands won't participate. I can only draw one eye, then the rest are just hair. LOL
I also want to be a writer, but support for local writers in my country is very limited. I also do not think my words are good enough to publish. I need more training.

We have the same interest. Anyway, as long as we are happy and contented still with what we are doing, maybe that would compensate for our frustrations.
Happy mylotting.

Firstly I am frustrated with myself. I'm constantly changing and trying to improve to become the person I've always wanted to be, but I feel trapped between the person I am and the person I am becoming. I'm frustrated with both my appearance and personality. I am frustrated that I still can't get a part-time job (I just graduated from highschool). I'm frustrated because I don't have the best relationship with my parents and feel as if I never make the effort to fix that. Basically, I have a lot of frustrations in my life.

Hi angryland.
You are so young to be frustrated in life. You are lucky that you have lots of time ahead of you to do the things that must be done. May I suggest that you find your strength and seek to understand others so that you can improve your relationship with your family and friends. Of course, this are just suggestion and it is still up to you to do what you feel and think is right.
I hope and pray that you'll find what you seek.
Best regards.

what do you mean by frustrated actress, artist etc. Does that mean your good at those things, but you don't have the opportunity to take those things further. Well its just about knowing the right people, the right contacts. I want to become an author, but i don't know any publishers, and how does one go about doing that anyway.
