Completely.
i know i can't drive while talking on my cell phone, so i generally don't do it. I'm on the road quite a bit and i've had narrow-misses with MANY drivers, who couldn't be bothered to pay attention to where they were going because they were to bust on their telephones.
Have we really come to the point where we cant go FIVE MINUTES without any social interaction.... COME ON.
Back in the day, we had to communicate by sending messages across country on Horseback. waiting for messages for weeks at a time never killed nobody.
these days, we cant wait 10 freaking minutes to make phone calls or a text message, we are willing to put the safety of others and ourselves, be cause we don't have patience!
Get Over It.
JST DRIVE!

Totally and I have given up this practice my friend as it is not only dangerous for me but I could have killed someone.
About 2 months ago a 29 year old plastic surgeon killed himself as he was tweeting a message. Now would he have not done this had he known it could have been dangerous. Oh I am like you if it is of absolute emergency to use that phone pull over, park and keep everyone safe.

Thanks for the response my friend, sad that people cant take a break from something as un important as tweeting. Did you know opera has a petition called something the name of it slips my mind at the moment but its to do with not using your cell hone at all in the car. in fact it says you have to have it turned off.

I totally support it...I was almost killed by someone on the cell phone....and it was just split seconds that kept me from being in a herrific accident...then almost ran me into the car ahead of me at 60 mph....luckily I had two car lengths between me and the car ahead of me or I would have been totally creamed!

I sure support it, after all hands free are affordable they can always get it
I heard someone said there is no difference talking on a cell phone with talking with a passenger
well of course it's different LOL not like driver has to hold passenger's hand while talking to them
there is NO difference using hands free with talking to passenger, that I can understand
if work can't wait, well getting hands free sure worth it

I definitely support this law. I've actually seen the result of a careless driver who was too busy on their cell phone while driving and it was not a pretty sight. I honestly think that those people are really inconsiderate because not only are they not taking their own safety in consideration they are putting others, be it their passengers or people in other vehicles, in harm's way too. I know that a lot of people ignore this law because they think that nothing will ever happen to them and that they are a careful driver but I'd rather be safe than sorry. I guess people like that will only learn through a harsh experience.

in my mind i guess that everyone supports this law to avoid accidents, but in my opinion it is difficult sometimes to resist for a call specially in emergency cases

Definitely I will. I hate to see someone driving while having communicate with someone on the phone. If I see someone like that, I almost want to hit that person. They seem doesn't care even a bit with the lives of others. Actually even those who use their cellphone while near a gas station. It's really create fear.

Certainly,i will rise up the couple of hands to support the law against using cell phone while driving. It is a big dangerous action when someone use cell phone while driving. The people will disperse their attention on cell phone,it is easy to have an accident.

Yes, I support the law against using cell phone while driving. My brother have a personal experience about that. One day, he was using mobile while riding his motorbike. Unfortunately, he met an accident. By god's grace, he escaped only with scratches on his arms and legs.

Yeah, I support this law, because while talking on the phone, keeping it on the ear with one hand, your reaction slows with many percent.
I support talking on the phone only by hands-free device. Then talking on the phone would be like talking with another person in the car.

I agree, there's no need for people to be talking on the phone while driving, they could just get a handsfree if they MUST, or they could just keep their phone on speaker...
