Have you as a reader or a writer ever felt like there's a story right on the tip of your mind, and you're working hard to pull it out, but sometimes the brainstorms that you come up with just aren't what it is? I can't really explain it. I have this story that needs to come out, I feel it way down deep, and know that it's going to be incredible, but I can't put it into the words yet. Possibly a great work in progress, but i'm afraid that if i wait too long then it won't come out at all.
It's not really like writers block because I can write about anything at any time, but it's something else. Possibly the best and biggest story I've ever written in my life and it's just waiting. Right in the front of my mind, but then something is stopping it. Any ideas to keep the brain fresh, other than meditation? Something to help pull it out. Fellow writers do you have any ideas? If so please let me in on them, i'm not blocked just lost for words.

Hi, Melvinandheather, I'm just a person who loves reading and writing too. It's my dream to become a professional writer but I still don't have any real experiences with it.
And I did feel the same what you felt, so I looked for any kind of guidance "to be a writer" books and most of it advised to keep writing and put it on words, even your story is not in structure, but the lost words will come while you're writing on it. It's not necessary to put all everything neatly.
Hope it helps. ;)

hi, fellow writer!
mind if i share a tip?
it's really simple, you just have to write it down whenever your idea struck right when you can express them to good words
cause if the moment pass, you'll be lost for words
i've through it couple of times too
therefore i always ready to write down a little note
hope it helps
:)

That's a nice simple tip. Me too is thinking of being a writer. I have started to write articles but I am more interested on creating stories or write a novel. I have started a novel yet I am still thinking of an idea that is some how unique and interesting. But bits by bits I get some ideas from others and by reading online.

I agree with galleon here. Just write what has been flashed in your mind and then just polish it as soon as you could come up with appropriate words. For sure if you keep on reading of what you have been writing, you will come up in good construction. Just don't let a single word passed, when you come to think of something, write it down right away so you won't loose a guide. That would be your guide.

I love to read. When it comes to writing, I used to write poems but I guess I've been out of practice. I even tried starting a few blogs here and there and never got to the point of really maintaining any of them. I wish I could be more efficient with writing that's why I read a lot of books and tips on how to start. This discussion has slightly enlightened me to pursue what I really want not just a hobby but eventually as a professional. Thanks!

I suggest that you sit down and at least write down the idea for the story and as you do that, you may find that the words start flowing and that you will soon have the masterpiece that you are working towards. I am currently in the process of writing a short story or a novel, depending on how many ideas come to mind. I hope to publish it soon.

I can understand what you are saying. I have many great ideas just looming barely below the surface in my mind that I just can't seem to get out and on paper yet. Recently, I was given a few ideas of ways to get the thoughts out in the manner that I want them to be. I was told that making an outline could help, although, if you are like me, when you are trying to write, it just flows or it doesn't.
One idea that I think might be a really good one, but I have not implemented yet is to carry a small tape recorder with me and record my thoughts as I have them. I can see where this would be beneficial because then I could tell the story as I want and put it on paper at a later time. This would also help to take away the pressure of feeling like you have to writeat a specific time.
Other than that, the only other tip I can think of is to put things on paper as they come to you and organize them the way you want as you go. This way, you can write what you are thinking and put it all in order when the time is right for you.

hello.
why not have a notebook and jot the things that you see or meet everyday? not that you have to narrate but just list them down those that are somehow related to what you want for your story. then after that, you go over it and see if you can already create one. if still, you cannot write down what you wanted for your story, do the same thing of jotting down until the words and ideas become vivid.

The hardest part of writing is actually starting. My attempts to write tend when working for an hour a day for example tend to be about fifty nine minutes of blankly staring at the computer trying to figure out how and get my ideas out of my mind and about a minute of getting out a few sentences. I am all gung ho, I have all of these great ideas, there is really no way I can fail.
Yet, it is hard to start writing a lot of the time. Sometimes today is going to be the day to start writing. Somedays, I actually do get something resembling progress done a lot of the time. There is really no reason for this and there are very few things that I can be done. There are just some times where writing cannot be forced and it is just best to back away for a few hours, before trying to get some progress in again.

If this is the point, then u should join any professional writer as an associate and learn from them on how to write and how to come up with words.
They will ask your idea and they will take some of your ideas and mix with their ideas and see if it's working, meanwhile u will learn how to work on the words and the current phase of the story line and if u work with them for two or three books, u will become a professional writer !!!!!!!
Farewell !!!!!
