do men and women say sorry every time they do something wrong?

it has been a popular notion that women say sorry more than men. they say that men are rude coz even if it is their fault, it is very hard to make them apologize. i heard on the news last time that says there is a study that says it is not that women apologize more than men. the study just said that in the many times that commit a wrong, it is not all the time that they need to say sorry. if they think that they need to, they do. and women on the other hand, say sorry even on the littlest things. how true is this? what do you think about this study? or do you even understand my question? is it confusing? yeah i guess it is, that even the news anchor who delivered this spiel said that he too was confused.
