It very much depends on what you want to achieve as to how you save the files. If you simply want text from a web page, often the best way is to select the text, copy and paste it into a Word Processor or Text Editor and save it as a text file or in whatever format is convenient (RTF is basic and preserves any formatting to a certain extent). You can also use Save As ... in your browser's file menu and either save as HTML only or 'Complete Web Page' (the latter sill also create a separate folder with the same filename which will contain all the graphics necessary for the page). You can edit this file (and its associated folder) with an HTML editor - either Notepad (if you understand HTML code) or a WYSIWYG editor (there are a number of free ones available, including SeaMonkey from Mozilla, to very expensive ones like Dreamweaver). Finally, do remember that copying ANYTHING off the Internet for republication is likely to be an infringement of somebody's copyright. Jest think how you would feel if someone copied YOUR prized web page design, images or carefully written text and reproduced it somewhere else ... badly!

If you can alter that page, all you have to do is open it with notepad or any other editor and that's it! But editing the file itself and posting that to your blog is ridiculous. Better just get an idea from that file and do something on your own.
