What exactely is fascism

President Bush recently referred to the "War on Terror" as "the war against Islamic fascism." Is that an accurate portrayal?

Nope, Fascism is a political movement. Islam is a religion, they are not the same.

You are correct that Islamic fascism can hardly be a correct way to describe the Islamic extremists. I suspect that since the word fascism has so many bad meanings in recent history, President Bush was trying to " bad mouth " the Islamic terrorists with as evil sounding of a word as he could find. If your point is that the President of the United States of American should be better spoken with his vocabulary, I agree with you.
