I plan to take my daughters to go see this new Disney movie, it looks cute and funny. I wanted to start a topic on the movie to see anyones thoughts on this new movie. I have a link to a trailer on it below that I am sure can give you something to discuss with this new topic. So will you go and see it? Why will you? If not please tell me why you would not go and see it. Thanks for any posts.

i know it sounds funny coming from an old lady but i like those kind of cartoons that come from fairy tales i knew as a child and even newer ones sometimes. so i will likely watch it when it comes out on dvd. i now have "How to train your dragon" here from netflix. been wanting to see it. ive given up trying to find something son will watch with me hes grown man and thinks most movies are to silly or childish or romantic, chick flicks. so now i just pick what i want to see.

I agree, I am 27 years old and I still love cartoons myself. Thanks for taking the time to respond to my discussion, sorry I did not get to you sooner.

Oh yeah, I'm going to see it! Probably opening day. I totally loved Princess and the Frog, and I'm so excited for another Disney fairy tale movie! I was iffy about them changing the name to Tangled and going the route of computer animation, but it looks like it'll be heaps of fun so it won't stop me from going.

Cool I am not sure if we will go opening day, but I know I want to go. I believe I read online it comes out on November 24 which is the day before Thanksgiving. I think maybe that weekend we will vewnture out to go and see it. Will you go at night or during the day? I like to go during the day, so much cheaper on my budget.

I'm obsessed with Disney movies, especially princess movies. I saw The Princess and the Frog in theatres three times and have watched it countless times since it was released on DVD.
I am definitely going to see Tangled, but I'm very wary of what they did to it. They made it more "boy friendly" Since the revenue for The Princess and the Frog did so badly. They said little boys weren't going to see it because it was "too girly" and they lost money by not catering to the little boy demographic, which I think is completely hogwash. So they switched up Rapunzel to have a little more action and changed the title so it didn't "sound princessy".
But anyway, my family and I went to Disneyland two weeks ago and they had a whole area set up for Tangled and we met Rapunzel and Flynn.
