Wow! I would hope someone starting a business would already know all the ins and outs of chocolate! When people start ranting and raving about how you could turn it into a business is one of the biggest indicators. I do know that a pinch of ground pepper per pound of chocolate makes the flavor "pop". I'd have to have chocolate recipes from way back when to current and easily be able to duplicate them just because someone mentioned it! Chocolate muffins to chocolate cheese cake, truffles, cookies, cakes and pie recipes would be locked in my memory and retrieved with ease. I hope she's really good with numbers and weight measurements. Every penny counts. Equipment isn't cheep so searching for a financier is very important. Then there are food standards, licenses and inspections. Then there's experience. Wow! I wish her luck!

I love chocolates with cream, ground nuts or almonds and a chocolate, liq uor cream inside. Not everything in the same one, of course. I also love those chocolate and orange rind kind of chocolates. And the latest trend is bitter, as it´s diet.

personally, I'm not into chocolate but give me anything with caramel and nuts (Pecans, cashews or walnuts are best...in that order) and I go nuts! Of course, I like the dark chocolate better than the milk chocolate with these yummies. Good luck with your business ventures!

P.S. My daughter says she tried a chocolate covered pomegranate the other day and loved it!

yes sure^^ you should add nuts, almonds, and a new ingredient that chocolates dont usually have :) something sweet. maybe creams also :) sorry i dont know much about how to make chocolate but what i told you i guess would make delicious chocolates^^ you should try to search some recepies that include chocolate and see how they are done^^ and for sure your wife can have success in her business. just search first before invest in that^^ the best for you both^^

I love dark chocolate. Nuts like almond, pecan, peanut, walnut are common but I never tasted chocolate covered pistachio, maybe you can try it. For fruit, she can have raspberry, cranberry, orange, strawberry. raisin, peach etc. But for me ingredients is vital for chocolate but the shape and presentation is necessary too. You can attract more buyers if her chocolate shapes are unique and creatively designed. Same with the packaging. She can have a nice box for it with ribbon or flowers... Most buyers are attracted to the wrapping and presentation but be sure the content is good too, so that they will come back for more. Good luck with her business.
