Are stoke city the unluckiest club in the premier league ?

It seems like Stoke City seem to be on the wrong end of a number of refereeing errors. They had the ref against them when playing Manchester united when Gary Neville should have been sent off for a very late challenge, if it was the other way around then the Stoke player would have been sent off. They had a good goal disaloud against Everton and then on Saturday they had a goalbound effort hit a Sunderland players arm on the line, it should have been a sending off and a penalty.
Hopefully their fortunes will change soon because they are slipping very close to the relegation zone.

I think for Stoke, their reputation precedes them. They play such a hard game that referees often tend not to give them their side of the due. I agree that Gary Neville challenge was definitely a red but as Stoke also commit numerous fouls they definitely cannot cry foul over it.
The other two incidents, I have not seen so cannot comment. But you are right, their luck is bound to change and I do not think they will go down this season.
Cheers!

This is very unfortunate for Stoke indeed. They have a very strong squad. Their only weakness is in their full-backs. But their attack is very fearsome indeed. They have physical size, skill and pace/energy in attack. Not to mention their long throw!
