On my experience finding taxi is a very difficult thing to do every afternoon. when it seems all the taxi that pass by are all occupied. It has been an hour that i have waited and still no taxi.i just went back into the house and will just try later on to look for a taxi once again.this is what i don't like for not having your own car for some important things.it is not easy for a taxi under the afternoon sun.

Not only taxi, i think any vehicle , even a rickshaw is not available when you need it in emergency, last week i had been to a wedding with my wife, a friend took us there, but while returning we kept waiting for a taxi car for hours to come back home.. Thank you so much for this discussion. Professor. . Cheers have a lucky day ahead. God bless you. Welcome always.

i have not experienced riding in a rickshaw as we dont have that in our country. but i am quite surprised that even that is hardly available when you mostly need it. i was thinking it was something that is readily available or easily available as i don't consider that the main mode of transportation in your country.

Taxi charges here are expensive so I rarely go by taxi. I prefer to take the bus which is much cheaper. And another thing why taxi fees are expensive here is that not many people are using their services as many have their own cars or prefer the cheaper fares charged by the public transportation companies. Only tourists use taxi here.

yeah taxi is very expensive in your country for what i know. but here in my country it is half as expensive as in your place. so it is quite more affordable here. maybe that is why taxi is mostly occupied because people can easily afford to pay for taxi when they really need one.

It seems cabs here are much easier to find than in your place. Well, it depends on the area you're in. There are areas that cabs don't frequent and there are areas that are populated with it. Although the areas that has no cabs have other alternatives like jeepneys and buses.

Where i am its really expensive to own a car but public transportation is a big hassle when you want to travel with the baby in the stroller. So my choice will almost always the taxi and for this convenience, i have to close one eye over the high priced charges. About this alone puts me off going out altogether. I do not what else they should do to make public transportation look better than your own car. Once you compare both experiences between a private ride and the public transport, it will just make you work hard to own that car.

Where are you from? Why don't you call the taxi? I mean, in my hometown, you can call a taxi if you think it's too hard to find one. But I agree though that sometimes it would be better to own your own vehicle.
