I have a full time job but is currently on maternity leave. Lately, I have been thinking about leaving my job so I could focus on my newborn and my family in general. The most convenient job that I believe is fit for me would be something like a work-from-home job.
Online jobs are becoming more in demand these days, but with so many to choose from, it is becoming a challenge telling which one is worth your while and which one is not, not to mention the proliferation of scams, bogus and fly-by-night companies.
With that, would you have a legitimate online job you can recommend?
My core competencies are in the areas of Blogging, Article/News Writing, Data Entry, Photo Editing, Customer Service and Admin Support. I have an existing blog which earns from Google Adsense & Nuffnang (my earnings are still at a minimum since my blog is quite new) and had recently signed up with a number of online jobs (via oDesk & Freelancer) and still waiting for a response from the employers. While waiting, I sure could use more options / ideas of how I could have additional online income.
Please do cite online job/s which you have personally tried, earned from and can guarantee as 100% legit, and not just one that you heard from others. Detail as much information you can like how long it has been in the business, how many actual users they have, satisfied users' testimonies, etc.
I need to be sure about the company I will give up my current employer for so I won't have any regrets later on.
Further, I had PTCs before but got tired of the slow flow of earnings, so please do not recommend a PTC unless it is legit, is guaranteed to generate fast or the biggest earnings from its competitors and pays without delay.
Thanks in advance!

You have done well so far. I use odesk and its a good way to find work. You can do article writing and could try Triond and Hubpages. Also try scriptlance.

Yes it can be a little difficult. Catch 22 - without feedback it is hard to get jobs.
Start by applying for small jobs even if you have to go in with a low bid.
I have just got my first job for $20. It has taken me quite a long time for the pay involved but if I do a good job I should get good feedback and then other work.
