OMG! That's what I'm experiencing now and I'm really frustrated because I already plans on what I'm going to buy with that. This happened for many times already and it's making me really mad. How about you? Do you have any experiences like mine? Please share it so everybody can learn from that.

Hi Abi, To start with, this is a common scenario here at my place when you are working for private firms. Rarely these pay you on fixed dates. Delayed payments have their toll on the employees and if you are not a planned person (wrt expenses) you would be in problems when anything like this happens. Initial days of my work, the payments were never regular. And I, like you felt it a pain. But over the years, as you rise to senior levels, you come to know that the delays are not just out fun or anything but there are serious issues - It is like a chain - someones delays paying to your company and then you have no options to delay the payments of the employees. Anyways, It is a l;earning phase as you are a newbie in the world of making income and there are always things like this. Learn better and quick that is the only way out. Otherwise you might start looking for a new job not knowing whether they pay on date and time as mentioned. Cheers, theSids.

Delayed salary,of course i will be very sad then. Every household is expecting the salary each time the date approaches. And having it delayed means, delayed of everything. Paying the bills ,rent and, what if there is an emergency. Oh,that's one thing i hate ,delayed salary. have a good day always

Hello abish1987, I will not like this at all. Delayed in payment for work i did means bills will not be piad and will company pay for over due fees etc.. this not good and I will never like this. I feel sorry for the Senior Citizens if there checks are ever late to them. It is bad manangement and makes for low moral in the company and makes me feel I could not trust them ever to make good. How long have you been with the company? How long has the company been in business? Thanks and have a great day Sincerley Unique16

The situation made you post another discussion again here Abish. Welcome back.lol. Of courses I've been experiencing same thing too, it's the first time so I will give it a consideration. But if it will keep on repeating then there is no reason to be connected with them, I will find another job.

So sorry to hear that happen to you. I'd be in trouble if my salary gets delayed. I always make sure to pay all my bills on time and I have a set date on when to pay them which corresponds nicely with our pay periods at work. I hope I never get to experience this.

I won't be happy if my salary is delayed. It is not fair because I make my efforts and I spend time working. So I should get my salary on time. We have to finish our work well as soon as possible. So why we can't get our salary on time? Is this requirement too much? But sometimes you can't do anything. If you want to continue your work, sometimes you have to learn to be patient or adjust to it. I love China

I'd feel nothing. I'd use my legal insurance and sue the heck out of them. It's a severe contract breach and I'd publish everything on the internet. I have no clue what's going on in the mind of lawmakers in some countries but it looks like people are deemed absolute trash and filth. You can't let your boss and government treat you like filth so do something about it. Complaining to us isn't going to help. ;)

Oh yes and it is very difficult to deal with as I am dependent on my salary to be able to pay for obligated bills. So I too would be so irritate, although if it is something I cannot change, I still would be so upset as my creditors will find no form of excuse to be acceptable. Hopefully it is not a repetitive thing that is happening with you as this could certainly force you to make changes.

Yes, I'm in this experience. I like you. I'm feel up set because all plans which need my salary would be broken. Now, my company always pay salary on time. It's great.

Are you talking about a regular working payday? if that is the case, then probably the company has its reason why and surely, you are informed about it. I'm wondering why you said it happened for many times and yet, you are there working for them. I think you should make a dialogue with them. If what you are talking is about online, expect it. Many things are unreliable when it comes to being on time.

It happened to me twelve years ago, at my first working place. It happened not only once, but for five months in a row. I didn't have the money to pay my rent, so I had to borrow from my parents. I used to eat bread and butter, I couldn't afford anything else. After five months I couldn't bare it any more and I changed my working place. I had to sue the company to receive my money for the last 5 months.

There are times that my salary got delayed but most of the time it get into my account just on time. There are various cases that causes the delay. Sometimes, there are holidays before salary day so the processing of the pay roll is lengthened and it's unavoidable. Other than that, nothing technical causes delay in my salary. I often experience another similar situation, the salary is just right in the bank but I just can't withdraw it! I know I've got it in my account but I have no way of using it since the bank is "OFFLINE". This is the state when the bank experiences technical problems in transmitting accounts' accessibility to other Automated Teller Machines. In short, we cannot do any transaction anywhere. So it's no different to not receiving it.

Hi Abish, what I know is if you're working in a company and they delay your salary payment, you should be cautious as might be their current financial condition is not really healthy. As for worst scenario, the company is going to bankrupt.
