Watching movies has been one of my favorite things to do. I'm pretty sure most of us love it. Either we're watching on cinemas or watching dvd's at home, it's really fun and enjoyable especially when we are with our families or friends. Add our favorite movie treats or snacks like popcorn, chips, fries, burger, etc., I'm sure it will be a blast. The recent movie I have watched was "The Hole". It was not really one of the best movies I've seen. My sisters just love horror or scary films so we ended up watching this. I couldn't remember the last best movie I've watched. Maybe because it was already months ago or I just have a poor memory. Anyway, I got disappointed with "The Hole". At first, it was really creepy. There were times I tried to cover my eyes. It was quite exciting to finish the end. However, the last few parts were corny for me. It's like I didn't get to the peak part and the landing fell short. I was disappointed, they could've done better. That's what I personally think. So how about you fellow mylotters? What's the most recent best movie you've watched or just the recent one? What's also you're favorite movie snack or treat? This excites me to watch out for the upcoming movies especially this 2011. =)

Hi gjax57. I also love her movies. Her last movie I saw was "The Proposal". I have a crush on Ryan Reynolds that's why I got really excited to see them both together in one movie. Hehe. I haven't heard the movie "Precious". I'll search it on the net. Thanks. =)

There's two of you here who said it was a really good movie. One of my friends also said the same. I'll definitely watch it one of these days. I think she also won the best actress award because of her role in this movie. I also would like to see her portray a more serious role considering that she's really funny in most of her films. =)

The recent movie i saw in theaters is robo(endhiran). It is an Indian movie and it took the standards of indian movies a step up. The movie has great visual effects and the climax of the movie appeals to us most. The recent english movie i saw is The Prestige, directed by Crishtopher Nolan. The movie is quite complex to understand but it worth watchable. Though it does not go into the heart of the viewer, after we see it, our mind will be completely occupied by the movie. I could not stop thinking about the movie for two days when i saw it. I also saw Cristopher Nolan's Inception. It is also a good movie. Now i am waiting to watch Spiderman further parts and Pirates of Caribbean further parts

If u like the movies having a complex screenplay like 'The Prestige' then i think u should watch inception too. I heard that the movie got standing ovation in may theaters. Many people now say that Inception is one of their favorite movies. But i missed the chance to watch in theater. I just saw it in a Dvd. Hope more good movies come to entertain us

I love the movie "The Prestige". It's one of my favorites. I like the twist in the story and of course, Hugh Jackman. I think he's really a great actor. I missed the movie "Inception" though. I've heard good reviews about the movie. Hope you'll also enjoy those upcoming movies you've mentioned. =)

The last movie I saw in theaters was "Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole". I absolutely loved every minute of it from start to finish. It was my second time to see it in theaters and I really want to go see it a third time. The animation was beautiful, I loved the characters, and the story.
I'm not sure what the last movie I saw at home was. I think it was an old made-for-tv movie called "12:01", some sci-fi day is repeating story. I kinda enjoyed it but I don't think I want to watch it again anytime soon.

Don't download it! Go to theaters and SEE IT. It's worth the money.

... I can't even remember the last movie I saw in theatres... lol! But the best movie I saw recently (but it wasn't a recent movie, it was 1999) was 'Boy's Don't Cry". Seriously, I bawled my eyes out. Hilary Swank definitely deserved the Oscar in that one. I was so amazed by how great her acting was. I'm trying to think of the last movie I saw, but I really can't remember. I know it was with my mom.
... Easy A! That was it. That seriously took much to long to remember, haha. I really liked it, I thought that it was very funny and Emma Stone is always adorable. My favorite movie snack is probably Reese's Pieces... mmm :) And my mom always gets popcorn.
There's no particular movie I have heard about in 2011 that I am excited to see, but I am looking forward to the Harry Potter movies. I enjoy watching them almost as much as I enjoyed reading them; but to be honest, I don't keep up with the movies coming out. I'm a Netflix girl.

I haven't watched "Boys Don't Cry", but I also like Hilary Swank. I've seen her movie "P.S. I Love You" and it's one of my favorite movies. I shed a lot of tears watching that film. My heart really melted with how much love her husband had for her, and also vice versa. Me and my sisters are also planning to watch "Easy A". I think it'll be shown here next week, I'm not sure. Now you've mentioned that it's really a funny movie, we'll definitely watch this and not miss it out. Thanks. =)

Oh gosh, prepare yourself for 'Boy's Don't Cry' then, if you cried in 'P.S. I Love You'. I may have teared up in that one, but in 'Boy's Don't Cry' I literally bawled like a baby. I wasn't expecting it, was the thing, so when the ending came, I was just in shock, crying my eyes out. And then I found out it was based on a true story and I just cried all the more. I don't think I slept that night because I cried so hard, but I don't regret it. That movie is seriously the best movie I have ever seen.

I love watching movies and I guess I was watching a favourite horror movie of mine called Demons! Halloween has just passed and I thought it was the appropriate time to watch a movie like this. I don't go to the cinema and it's quite expensive anyway so I do the next best thing and I purchase movies for my ipod touch and I then get to watch them on this small device as well as my own computer.
I'm always on the lookout for good horror movies, they really get your imagination running wild! I have to admit I did love Avatar, that's definitely one of my favourites at the top of my list! There's also Poseidon, I loved that movie! I love disaster movies all round like The Towering Inferno as well as The Day After Tomorrow not forgetting 2012! These are all great movies and I could watch them over and over without becoming bored! Andrew

I'm not familiar with the movie "Demons". Is it a classic horror movie or more recent? It's also quite confusing with all the movies that have the word demons on it. Hehe. My sisters love horror movies, I'll try to tell them this movie. I don't really watch horror films in cinemas, I watch them at home so I'll feel more secured and if I can't take it anymore, I can just run away. Haha. Maybe either one of them will try to upload it as well. I'm not really a fan of disaster movies, though there are some that I did enjoy. =)

well, i've watched quite a lot of movies recently, mostly in my laptop. the notable ones include Public Enemies; Robin Hood; RocknRolla; Collateral; Mystic River; The Men Who Stare At Goats; Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, The Expendables, etc. i'd say they are all good movies, well, most of them. but the one movie that appealed to me most is the Brazilian movie 'The Elite Squad' ('Tropa da Elite' in Portuguese). it's a 2007 movie which was well-acclaimed and received awards too. i watched it several times and its a really good movie about the Rio de Janeiro special police force called BOPE in short. just recently the sequel was released and i'm dying to watch it too. it's really worth watching with an excellent semi-fictional storyline.

I've also watched "Robin Hood" and "The Expendables". I was able to watch these two in cinemas with my sisters. I wasn't able to watch "Public Enemies" even though I truly admire Johnny Depp. I think he's just brilliant. The Brazilian movie you've mentioned is kind of intriguing, I hope I can watch it also soon. But I have to say, I don't really like too much violence in movies, I hope this one is not considering that it's something about police force or squad. Hehe. =)

Not to contradict you or something, I'm quite confused because I have heard some people say that it was quite boring. I don't know if they're just too brave or what that this is their movie review, but I easily get scared so maybe it will also be frightening for me and consider it as a good movie as well. My sisters also love horror or scary movies. I like the screaming part when we're watching these kinds of films then we'll all laugh out hard after because of our reactions or the look on our faces. Thanks. =)

The best movie that I've seen so far this year is the Blind Side by Sandra Bullock. It's a true to life story about a poor kid who's abandoned by his parents. He's talented but nobody appreciates him because nobody understands him. Then Sandra Bullock, a true Christian, adopted him and made him part of her family.
That movie was so touching, it's a feel good movie for the whole family.

i think my favorite movies in Transformer II ( the revenge of the fallen ) is good movies, the tehnologi is futuristik, and the cost of making the movies is must be very expensive, but is ok the result movies is the best of 2010 and i wait the next sequel of transformer.

I also enjoyed watching "Transformers 2". My sister said that Megan Fox will not star anymore on its sequel. That's really disappointing. I like Megan and Shia's tandem on-screen. I think the girl who'll take her place has big shoes to fill, well, unless she's already a certified hot chick and a good actress. I'll still watch the third sequel even without Megan though it would be different without her. =)

I would love to watch a movie that moves me beyond myself. Something that moves me , something that makes me think, something that changes me for the better. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Well, I'm not sure if you'll really like my suggestions but I remember being moved by the movies, "The Reader" starring Kate Winslet, "7 Pounds" starring Will Smith. These are what I can remember as of now. I know there are still more options. Of course, I must include some of the classic movies like "I am Sam" and "Forrest Gump". If you haven't seen these, I highly recommend the two. But you may have already watched them, I think. These are the kind of movies that somehow changes or affects our perspective in life or on other people. I'll update you again if I can remember some more. =)

The last movie I saw in the cinemas was Despicable Me.It was a fun animated movie about a guy who wants to be Villan No 1 but is beaten to the title by some kid so plans to adopt some orphans so that he can use them to get inside the kids super hi tech house.
Love the bit where the orphan girls made him read them "The Three Little Kittens" and he said "You call this literature?"
Then he wrote a book called The Sad Unicorn,it was so cuuuuuttttteeee.
The last movie I saw on DVD was Toy Story.I remember it from when I was 10.It used to make me cry when Woody gets abandoned by Andy.

Yes, I also saw this movie. I was with my best friend. I also enjoyed it. I remember that storytelling part, I did giggle. It was a cute scene. Gru was really clever. I also like the scene where those little capsule-like inventions of Gru wanted also to be kissed goodnight by him and He actually did it to all of them. It was adorable. There are quite a lot of animated films these days that are really good. I also love the movie "Up". Great love story and I really wanted to have that talking dog. =)

Yup, I saw these three. I started liking Sam Worthington in his movie, "Clash of the Titans". More so when he starred in "Avatar". I like the kind of friendship the group in "The Grown-ups" has. It made me wished me and my friends would also be like them when we grow older. =)

I love Robert Downey Jr., I think he's really a versatile actor, but I haven't seen this movie yet. I'm not sure if it was already released here in our country. Maybe I wasn't able to see the trailer or any poster of it. Or maybe it's still one of the next attractions, I'll just try to find it out. =)
