No not when you are born, your mom takes care of you when you are born. I want to know when you think about it real hard please when did life start, what I mean by that is when were you on your own. Life started for me after high school, if I went to college maybe it would have started later but once high school finished life started for me.I moved out of parents house which was a mistake, wow I never knew you had to pay to get your laundry washed, I learned that quick and there was food on the table at all the time in my parents house. Anyway I had to get a room mate and that did not work because we could not decide who is suppose to do what in the house. Got a girlfriend to live with me for 6 months and that was a bad idea. Wow I know how marriage is going to be like now. Well anyway I am back where I belong, back in my parents house. Life started but now is on hold again, I am trying to save money so I can start my life again.

Hello! For me, life started after I graduated from college. No parents, no home, no money. I tried to be independent after graduating, I looked for a job, I stayed in a boardinghouse, and far from my parents. Thus, I was really on my own, life was at first really liberating, you get to decide and choose your own path without dictation, however, this means that you will be the one to face the consequences. The good thing is that I learned a lot and not only learned from it but live each day with lessons that I always bring and would even teach to my children. Cheers!

No worries, we all have different experiences and I am sure, you will get the same; the kind of life you wanted is all in your hands and God's guidance. God bless you too!

Hi Ekobernie. Sounds like you have a good life at home. I on the other hand like all of my sibilings we always had to work doing something. When we started to walk our mother put us working at something. I can remember when I was 5 picking fruit and vegetables. Life really starts when the apron strings are cut and you are out on your own. It is good that you have family that will let you stay in their home till you get on your feet. But while staying in their home remember that you are a guest in your parents home and should treat them with the same respect that you did as a child. I was out of my parents home at 17 officially but I left home at 13 because my mother was abusive. Married at 17 and what a mistake. I wish I had a good family life. God has blessed you with great parents! Always honor your mother and father!

In the way you're talking, life started for me a month after I graduated from High School. That's when I went into the US Army.

Yes you got it right, that is what I am talking about. Once high school finished for you. You had to make your own decisions. Once you were in the army no one could tell you to pick up your soc and or dishes and or clothes.

I'm 60 and I feel like it hasn't started yet. Life is one long process of waiting for something to happen. That's why we long for another one after this one.

You want to live again, not me I am done. I would not want to go thru life again. If you don't remember this life what good is it, you would just make the same mistakes in life.
