it's a book by suzanne collins. it's really interesting and i really loved it, so much that i am re-reading the whole series. there are three books by the way, hunger games, catching fire, and mockingjay. i've tried to find if there is an hunger games interest here but i couldn't. i've also put up a discussion about it before but only one person answered asking if these games are fun, which doesn't even relate to it in the slightest bit. anyway, it's a really good book series. it's about a girl who has to survive in a dystopic future wherein america is no more, and there is a game where a set of children has to battle for their lives on tv. but i won't spoil it anymore for you guys. if you liked the love angle of twilight, you would love this even more. plus, i think that there will be a movie version of this book next year. i just hope they won't butcher it, like they did twilight! (no offense to those who love the twilight movies though)

I've responded to a few discussions about the Hunger Games, so I know they're out there somewhere. It's a REALLY popular series, you're just hard pressed to find people who love it on mylot. I love the Hunger Games! I've read all three, only once but I'll probably read them again in the future. I think I liked Catching Fire the most.

it's so hard to find hunger games discussions in here. i love it too. i've read all three books twice already. my favorite i the first one though. for me, it's the most thrilling. i heard somewhere that they're making a movie version. i hope they don't mess it up! :)

According to what I've heard... the rights to make the movie have been optioned, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it will ever make it into production. Optioned basically means a studio went and called dibs on the right to consider making the film for a set period of time. If that period of time expires and no production plan has been green-lit, the film rights can be optioned again. So no movie guarantee yet, but considering Hunger Games's vast popularity... it is likely a film will be made. Will it get completely screwed up? Possibly. We'll just have to wait and see.
