Am 99% sure that Most of you people in here have watched brave heart the movie. Am not lying when i say that the movie is one of my best favourit movies, the story itself, of course you know who is william wallas in real, the fact that the hero die in movies is so rare in these days' movies, don't you agree, don't you think guys that movies these last 5 or 8 years tend to create new heroes characters more than making movies about real heroes who lived once on earth & who left an honrable legacy. Don't you agree that producers & directors lean more towards science fiction movie rather than biographical movies, i wonder why for, really ?
Do audiance or human in general looks for new heroes, or is it just evolution of human mind make it more acceptable for us to watch iron man or spiderman rather than william wallas ?
Please share us with what you think about this, & am all ears of whatever your opinion is ^_^

Brave Heart is one of my favorite movies. Even if I have watched it many times, but everytime I am still moved and shed my tears. A life without freedom is no life at all. This is a famous quote from Brave Heart.
I love China

In fact, I prefer movies based on real history to those science fiction movies.I can learn something from them, history, beautiful sights, native music, challenges the hero is facing and how he feels,"it's all real",I would tell myself.I was especially moved by Wallas' cry"freedom!!!" as if I was given strength through the screen.

That's a good point in fact what you said about learning history, beleive it or not, i never heard of william wallas before, only after i watched the movie, & when they said, that the story of william walls is a real one.
Historical movies are a great source of knowledge especially for people who don't read books much, like me, lol.

Well, people these days just want to make more money and since many people love sci-fi, including me , they create movies like that, that would really sell more. But yes, it would be nice if they made movies about real heroes, i love Braveheart too and it is by far the best movie about real heroes.. hope they make more, Mel Gibson is such a good director and actor.

Mel Gibson, long seen as a symbol of overactive movies, the director proves its exceptional quality of this movie great success spoil the Oscars in 1996, which has as its subject Scottish patriots fighting against the English oppressors.
Battles between the Scots and English are the grandiose, dramatic production, the effort that they were again being fully rewarded.
William Wallace, hero of the movie, as the performer or even said, Mel Gibson, one of the men who changed the course of history. And "fearless heart" is an incredible story about courage, loyalty, honor and brutality of war. And this Movie is a touching love story.
